It's the second week of blind auditions, and this week's contestants had the unfortunate burden of measuring up to the amazing contestants from last week. They didn't do too shabby, and here are my picks for best performances of the night:

Name: Kelli Douglas

Audition Song: "Danny's Song"

Verdict: Three chairs

Coach Choice: Adam

This teacher turned musician from Tennessee knew she had a gift, but stage fright held her back. She decided to overcome her fear and try out for The Voice and thankfully so, because she has a beautiful voice. The only one who didn't turn his chair after her performance was Pharell, and I have a feeling he was kicking himself!

Name: Blessing Offor

Audition Song: "Just the Two Of Us"

Verdict: Four chairs!

Coach Choice: Pharrell

Blessing lost his sight as a young child, but that didn't deter him from pursuing his dreams of music. Hearing him share his story was inspiring, not only because he persevered, but because of how much of a gentle and positive soul he had. He started off a little shaky, but at the very last SECOND, all FOUR coaches turned their chairs.  He did an amazing performance and originally had the hopes of choosing Blake, but decided to go with Pharrell.

Name: Mia Pfirrman

Audition Song: "Unconditionally"

Verdict: Four chairs!

Coach Choice: Adam

Music flows through her veins - both of her parents were in an 80's band - and it shows in the way she sings. Her audition song not only showcased her range of vocals, but it is also a very difficult song to sing - but she nailed it. For some reason, the coaches took a while to turn their chairs, but they did turn - all four of them! Mia will be moving on in the competition with Team Adam.

Name: Anita Antoinette

Audition Song: "Turn Your Lights Down Low"

Verdict: Four chairs!

Coach Choice:Gwen

She tried out last year, because of the way she sang her audition song. She sang "No Woman No Cry" but with an upbeat tempo, and it took away from the meaning of the song. The worst part was that after no one turned their chairs, she slowed the song down and nailed it.  Luckily she took Adam's advice to come back next year to heart, because she landed the most PERFECT performance of the night.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's auditions!

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm EST on NBC.
