Big Brother 16: Zingbot Gets His Zing Back

It's one of the funniest episodes all season: Zingbot! Our favorite big zinger makes an appearance in the Big Brother house and one houseguest finds himself in a bit of trouble.

The episode begins right after Donny, the true comp beast, won BOTB all by himself. Even though he just saved himself for the week, Donny is realizing that he's very much alone in the house. He's figuring out that Christine tried to throw the competition and he knows everyone, including his Team America members, was in on the plan. In an attempt to cover his bases, Derrick tells Donny that he had a feeling he was going to win and he's happy for him. But the groundskeeper keeps quiet, he knows Derrick is just lying to his face. We can't forget that Derrick is a very smart player and he realizes immediately that they have lost Donny's trust. What do we take away from this? Team America keeping each other safe as an 'alliance' in this house is over. Derrick and Frankie will not hesitate to evict Donny and Donny won't hesitate to evict either of them. This game is about to get real messy, real quick but only if Donny can pull off an HOH win and shift the power.

Derrick knows that if either Cody or Caleb win POV, Victoria is an option to replace one of the nominees. Magician Derrick does not want that, Victoria is his ticket to half a million dollars. So Derrick starts to work on Frankie to put Zach up instead. Donny, two steps ahead, drops a little comment to Zach that he needs to win veto. It sparks some paranoia in Zach who immediately goes to Frankie to make sure that a backdoor plan isn't in the works. It totally is. Frankie gives up very little information but Zach doesn't seem too worried anymore when he totally should be.

Players for the veto competition are picked: Frankie, Cody,Caleb,Christine,Donny and Victoria. Zach's name does not get picked and his safety is laying in Donny's hands. Donny tells Zach that he will try his hardest to win veto and keep nominations the same. Is Team Zonny becoming a real thing?! I hope so, this season needs it.

Zingbot is here! But there is something wrong, Zingbot is only giving out compliments. Someone needs to show him how it's done. You know, someone like Kathy Griffin. That's right, Kathy made her way into the Big Brother house and proceeded to zing the houseguest herself. Best zing of the night(in my opinion)?! "I would zing you, but I'm only supposed to zing people who are actually playing the game," said Kathy...directed to Victoria obviously.

The POV competition is all about Zingbot getting his zing back. The players have to connect wires to light up their boards. Whoever finishes first, wins. Frankie and Donny are off to a quick start but when Donny gets stumped it becomes a battle between Caleb and Frankie. Frankie wins POV and reboots Zingbot!

Team America Update: America doesn't like Team America or their missions but I will admit that I laughed for 0.5 seconds tonight and it had to do with TA. Remember, TA's mission was to steal clothing and create a neighborhood watch. They get to work stealing Caleb's cowboy boots, Cody's hat, Victoria's robe and Zach's Gator shirt. People start to realize their stuff is gone and Zach being Zach goes over the top with his reaction. Caleb starts to suspect that Zach is a saboteur. And Frankie being Frankie takes that and runs with it. Before we even realize it, this has gone from a hilarious reaction to stuff being missing to Zach getting the blame for another TA mission. The editing made it seem like this saboteur thing is the reason why Zach may be a renom. Not true. They chose not to show a lot tonight. The plan to put Zach up if the POV was used has been in play days before this TA mission happened. After this whole saboteur mess,Frankie told Zach that he was going up. It was a shock to nobody, not even Zach, that he was the renom. Frankie claims that he can't trust Zach even though Caleb literally sat down on the ground last week in an attempt to sabotage Frankie. But you know, Caleb is still trusted and would never do that again. Used sarcasm heavily there.

Power of Veto ceremony is here, Frankie uses the POV on Caleb. He attempts to try and be more likable than Zach, which is not possible and does a little renom rap. It's weak. Keep your day-job, Frankie. Zach is named as the replacement nominee and his fate is sealed. It's a really unfair way to go and a power shift is needed badly.

Find out if Cody or Zach will be evicted Thursday, 9/8c on CBS.
