Tonight we go from the top 10 down to 8, but the bottom dancers aren't announced at the beginning of the show. This time they will announce to the dancers after their performance if they are in the bottom, and the judges have no control from now on... it's all based on America's votes. Joining Nigel and Mary tonight is gold medalist and figure skater, Tara Lipinski. Also with the judges tonight are all stars!!!

First, the group routine to "Bang Bang" choreographed by Jamal Sims, which I can only describe as a neon twerk-off with umbrellas and cowboy hats... but at least the denim underwear had biker shorts underneath.

First up:
Bridget and all star Brandon: A Bollywood disco routine to "Disco Khisko" choreographed by Nikul Dev Mahajan. I don't think Bridget can keep up with Brandon but I guess that's the danger with dancing with all stars. At least they kept their energy up throughout the entire routine... which must have been a feat because it was fast! However, Bridget is in the bottom tonight.

Tanisha and all star Ryan: An Argentine tango to "The Gaucho's Pain". She is definitely in her element and really shines with Ryan since he is also a ballroom dancer. Her confidence cannot be denied, nor should it be. Tanisha is safe tonight.

Emilio and all star Jasmine (I'm pretty excited about seeing Jasmine again): A hip hop routine to "Get Low" choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon. I gotta say, Emilio held his own! But I can't keep off Jasmine's low hip outfit. Besides this seeming like a really fun routine to do, they both looked like pros. Emilio is in the bottom two.

Valerie and all star Ade: Is it bad that I've never missed a season but I can't remember some of these all stars? A jazz routine to "Hearts A Mess" choreographed by Tyce Diorio. This pair did not work for me, and Valerie seemed to much like a 5,6,7,8 dancer... no feeling behind the movements. Valerie is safe tonight.

Rudy and all star Jenna: A cha cha routine to "Maps" choreographed by Louis Van Armstel. Oh, Rudy, don't sing along. He's trying to be sexy and she's smily and bubbly... were their signals mixed? But he is such a strong partner. Rudy is safe tonight.

Jacque and all star Chehon: A contemporary ballet duet to "Adagio for TRON" choreographed by Travis Wall. If effortless is their goal, then mission accomplished. And those legs! Oh my, those legs! I just wish the lighting would've been brighter so we could've really seen that fantastic technique. I heart pointe. Jacque is the other bottom two girl.

Ricky and all star Lauren: A jazz routine to "Bossa Nova Baby" choreographed by Mandy Moore. Sweet Ricky, he's just so excited to be here and it shows in his performance tonight. Although he looks a bit like Pee Wee Herman in this routine. The ending was a twisting formation of awesome, though. Ricky is safe.

Casey and all star Kathryn: A broadway routine to "Maybe This Time" choreographed by Spencer Lift. Intimate? Maybe. Romantic? Sure. Debonaire? Absolutely. And Casey really brings it when the tempo increases. Casey is safe.

Jessica and all star Twitch (yay!): A hip hop routine to "U Got Me Up "Underground Good Mix) choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon. She's really got her work cut out for her to work with Twitch. But pin-up girl got it tonight! Good girl. I actually wanted to watch her instead of Twitch so that's saying something. One of the best routines of the season. Jessica is safe.

Zack and all star Amy: A contemporary routine to "Europe, After The Rain" choreographed by Sonyah Tayeh (Sonya is going to the Martha Graham dance company!). Can you dance with no music just rain drops? That's how this routine begins and ends. For a tapper, Zack really show soft his other skills tonight making this routine memorable and an amazing way to end the for the night. Don't go towards the light, Zack!! Zack is safe tonight.

Now we watch Christina Perri sing "Burning Gold" before the eliminations.

Leaving tonight are: Bridget and Emilio. If they had done tonight's routines last week this would not be the outcome.

Next week:

Tanisha is with all star Nick

Valerie is w/ AS Ryan

Rudy w/ AS Allison

Jacque w/ AS tWitch

Ricky w/ AS Jaimie

Casey w/ AS Comfort

Jessica w/ AS Will

Zack w/ AS Makenzie
