We start tonight with the top 16 group number to "Take Me To The River" choreographed by Mandy Moore. Although, it seems a little more drill/dance team than SYTYCD. Joining Nigel and Mary again tonight is Misty Copeland. I'm beginning to think she's here to stay.

The business portion of tonight's episode is announcing the bottom 3 boys and girls:

Bridget
Marcquet
Brooklyn
Serge
Tanisha
Zack

Valerie and Ricky: A Bollywood routine to "Dilliwalli Girlfriend" choreographed by Nakul Dev Mahajan. It was so energetic! Maybe they meant to put this routine at the end of the show because nothing is better than two dancers having so much stamina. Maybe we should all take Bollywood classes instead of Zumba... our butts would be in shape!

Bridget and Emilio: A contemporary routine to "The Leaving Song" choreographed by Travis Wall. Props! No, not like I'm giving them props, but they're actually using props. Emilio seems a bit unsteady but Travis puts in so many tiny movements that make the routine magnificent and meaningful.

Tanisha and Rudy: A hip hop routine to "Good Kisser" choreographed by Dave Scott. I'm guessing as a ballroom dancer she's used to skimpy costumes but yeeowza on this leather and fishnet ensemble!! (Btw, you can totally see her undies.) The costumes don't save this routine, however. Rudy seems to into it, Tanisha seems sexily out of her element.

Jessica and Marcquet: A ballroom routine to "I Put A Spell On You" choreographed by Dmitry Chaplin. This is like a married couple putting their martini's down after entertaining friends and getting down and dirty before rushing off to the bedroom. In a great way. But during the critique by the judges Marcquet looks so disappointed.

Carly and Serge: A contemporary routine to "Foolish Games" choreographed by Mandy Moore. The transitions were so flawless that I didn't even care about the story behind the dancing. But why are the dancers always walking away from each other at the end??

Emily and Teddy: A salsa routine to "Bruk It Down" choreographed by Oksana and Jonathan. Emily slips at the beginning but saves it quickly. But I don't think her confidence recovers completely. Either that or she's too tired. Teddy remains a steady dancers and partner but it's not enough to save the routine.

Jacque and Zack: A jazz routine to "Back To Black" choreographed by Sonya Tayeh. This steampunk themed dance is completely dominated by Jacque, Zack just seems like a handy prop to climb on.

Brooklyn and Casey: A hip hop routine to "Hustle Hard Remix" choreographed by Willdabeast. Both dancers looked like they were into it and having good time, but this was not good. The choreography was good but the dancers just couldn't pull it off.

Here's a surprise... a mini group routine about broken souls choreographed by Sonya Tayeh. A last chance to show their abilities to "So Broken". Very dramatic and in total Tayeh style. It was like watching a group of child psychiatric hospital patients flash mobbing but in a dark way.

The second mini group routine is about outlaws and is choreographed by Travis Wall to "Love Runs Out". It's like the dance party goths have after work, when they can let their freak flags fly.

And now another surprise, Lucy Hale performs her new single "Lie A Little Better".

The moment we've all been waiting for... who's going home? Tonight the judges are staying with America's vote and Marcquet and Brooklyn are sent packing.

Last surprise of the night.. next week we will lose FOUR dancers!! Say it ain't so, Nigel!
