The newest cast member Lizzie finally made her appearance on the show, about four episodes into the season. Turns out she's a former beauty queen with a degree in fashion merchandising, so it makes sense for her to be fashionably late. 

Lizzie finally graced us with her presence during an ugly sweater party. Even with all the hideous attire around, no one could keep their eyes off her gorgeous face and huge boobs. In fact, her physical attributes were the topic of more than one conversation that evening. Heather described her as the "total package": bright, funny, and beautiful. 

As I've said before this is my first season with the OC housewives, and for my first recap, I compared all the housewives to ladies from other franchises. Lizzie reminds me of Kristin from RHONY, also a newcomer. Like Kristin, Lizzie is very focused on her looks, and has two small children. She's doing the mommy thing but she doesn't let it define her and actually remembers her life before she had children. She gave up her nonexistent acting career for her husband and traded in acting auditions for playdates. She's not completely a stay at home mom, she does own a bathing suit line, which she does all the designing, shopping, and creative work for. 

So far, I can't really tell how Lizzie is going to be on the show. Is she going to be relatable? A drama queen? Stir up lots of drama among the show's veterans? It's too early to call it, but from the previews it looks like she bumps heads with Vicki next week. Stay tuned!
