Last night on The Voice, each contestant sang two songs. One song they chose themselves, the other their coach chose for them. First let's open up with Usher's hit song "Good Kisser," but more like Good Dancer. He and his girls were working it on stage tonight! Usher put on an amazing live performance. Also, a nice surprise, Mark Wahlberg was in the audience speaking about the new Transformer movie that's coming out. They have an all new cast in the film so be ready!

Kristen Merlin was first to perform with a song by Blake's wife Miranda Lambert, "Gunpowder and Lead." Kristen chose this song and dedicated it to her hometown in Massachusetts. Kristen gave an 'A' performance. Her coach Shakira said that she is the most rhythmic artist on The Voice.

Josh Kaufman bought us to tears with his heart felt rendition of John Legend's hit song "All of Me," which he dedicated to his family. Super sweet Josh!

Remember a couple weeks ago when Blake gave out Adam's cell phone number on live TV? Adam decided to get his revenge tonight by dumping large amounts of manure onto his truck. I'm not exactly sure if that is fair payback, but Adam did it anyway.

Kat Perkins went up next to perform "Chandelier" a song that Adam selected for her. This song has a lot of elements to it. It was edgy, risky, and I loved every minute of it!

Jake Worthington stuck to his guns and chose a traditional country song to sing called "Good Old Boys." It wasn't too different from his previous performances, but he did hit a great note at the end.

For Christina Grimi, Adam chose the song "Hide and Seek" in attempts to keep her performances different. He let her use a special mic on stage that allows you to harmonize with yourself. That's pretty cool. The act wasn't my favorite but she wasn't bad by any means.

Usher's pick for Josh wasn't my favorite either. He sang "Love Runs Out" by One Republic. Even though this song is a rising hit right now, I don't think it was the best choice for Josh. Even so, Josh sang his heart out.

Kat's second song of the night was her person selection, "Let it Go" from the soundtrack of Frozen. Though she sang this well, I am so sick of this song! But it was sweet hearing her sing to the kids she babysits. They actually came to the show to watch her perform live.

In my opinion, Kristen Merlin gave the best performance of the night when she sang "Foolish Games" by Jewel, a song chosen for her by her coach Shakira. This song was absolutely perfect for her and so touching. She brought all the song's emotions to life!

Christina's second choice was "Some Nights" by Fun, dedicated to her home town of Marlton New Jersey. Once again, I'm not sure it was her best. In fact, Christina didn't look so happy by the end of the performance. Maybe something happened before she went on stage. Who knows?

Finally, they closed the show with Jake Worthington singing a 1980s rock song. Well isn't that a lovely surprise! He took us back 30 years with the hit song "Heaven." Nice choice Blake! It was a good way to shake things up and Jake's family were in tears by the end. Whelp, that's it for The Voice top five. Tomorrow's eliminations will bring us into the finals - Nail biting.
