This week on RHOA, it was nothing but bad news for our favorite ladies from the A. 

Cynthia found out from a blog that Peter's successful bar Bar-One might be facing foreclosure. Thankfully, it's not because Peter wasn't paying their bills, but because the landlord stop paying his. Regardless to why the bar was in trouble, Peter definitely should have told Cynthia about it before she found out about it online. It seems that they have major communication issues in their marriage, because it never seems like Cynthia know what Peter's doing. Oh and also, the same landlord owns the space where she operates the Bailey agency out of. Uh oh! 

Although they cleared up the contract issue and Porsha is officially signed on to Kandi's play, she missed a significant amount of rehearsals. When questioned about her absences, Porsha blamed her sister/personal assistant for overlooking the schedule. When she finally showed up, she didn't know the dance steps and got a lecture from the stage manager about her lack of dedication. Thank God Kandi hired that understudy - I think she's going to com in handy. 

In the worst news of all, Kenya lost her precious dog Velvet in a pretty horrible way. She let Velvet outside and another dog attacked her, ultimately killing her. Her aunt rushed over to try and console Kenya, who was hysterical with grief. I can say many things about Kenya's interactions with people, but she really loved that dog. Her aunt suggested that Velvet was "called home" to make room for other things in her life, like a baby. She also persuaded Kenya to funnel her grief into something productive, like a memorial service for Velvet. Not surprinsgly, the only housewives that Kenya called to inform of Velvet's demise was Kandi and Cynthia, and they were the only ones she invited to the memorial service. 

Kandi brought in a family counselor to help her mother get through her Todd hating mentality. . Mama Joyce said that as soon as Todd met Kandi, he quit his job and she gained 30 lbs. She felt it was his responsibility to remind her to work out every day, completely ridiculous. The counselor had some concerns about Mama Joyce, but decided they would revisit at a later date. 

That may not be necessary because after Todd ran into Joyce  at Kandi's play rehearsal, Todd tried to talk to her again. She finally opened up about losing her son and why she focuses all her attention on Kandi.I believe that Mama Joyce only whats best for Kandi, but she's grown now and she needs to be able to live her own life,. They hugged it out and seemingly called a truce. 

Next week is the season finale. Kenya says goodbye to Velvet, and Kandi's play opens. Stay tuned!
