Bachelor Nation, get ready! We're just two weeks away from a new season and this one stars Latin heartthrob Juan Pablo Galavis. The sexy soccer player didn't quite connect with last season's Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock, but he definitely struck a chord with fans. During The Men Tell All special, the audience couldn't stop screaming for him, so ABC took notice.
Coming up, on January 15th, Juan Pablo will begin his journey to find a wife who will embrace his young daughter Camila as well. His 4-year-old was a large part of the reason he really needed to consider whether or not he wanted to become the next Bachelor. "You have to be for the entire season, so it was going to be a little bit of a time away from my daughter," he told reporters in a conference call earlier this month, adding that he also hates hurting people.
With 27 women entering The Bachelor mansion, there is sure to be hurt feelings and lots of tears throughout the season. From the minute they step out of the limo, they'll be fighting for his attention but Juan Pablo has made it clear what kind of woman he's looking for. "I'm looking for a woman that is smart, that is honest, that likes sports a little bit maybe, and was looking for somebody that knew how to dance because I love dancing. That's one of my biggest turn on, or like I fall in love with that."
The Bachelor will also air several specials in January - Countdown to Juan Pablo, Behind The Scenes, and Bachelor Love Stories, all airing on
Sunday nights beginning January 5th. Then, on January 26th, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici will become husband and wife in a live televised special.
The new season of The Bachelor begins Monday, January 6th, at 8/7c on ABC.
