Craig Arrington of The Biggest Loser 15

Last week's Biggest Loser shocked viewers when Alison Sweeney revealed that trainer Jillian Michaels had broken one of the rules by giving her team caffeine supplements. As a result, the prior week's weigh-in didn't count which meant that the blue team had immunity once again and Ruben Studdard re-entered the competition. On top of that, the white team faced a one pound penalty each but even without that, they would've ended the week in last place. Craig Arrington ended up getting eliminated and we chatted with him about his tumultuous journey on The Biggest Loser this season.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What made you want to bring your story to America and be on The Biggest Loser this season?

A. Craig: I knew that being on a show such as The Biggest Loser would allow me to share my story. Before the show, I feared failure and in that belief, I never attempted to change my life for fear that I would fail. Now I've overcome my fear of failure and my weight loss is a life change!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Jillian felt a connection with you right away and wanted you on her team. Can you tell us a little about the relationship you formed?

A. Craig: Jillian saw something in me that I didn't know I had, which was the will to change and mentally change my life forever! I think now about how I will be there for my girls versus blaming myself for letting my father pass away. I have a new passion for life beyond physical appearances, and it's the mental aspect that I want to help others believe in.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: The show talks about transforming yourself from the inside out. What things did you feel like you needed to address or make peace with before you could really change?

A. Craig: This really hit home for me. I needed to let the passing of my father go as it was affecting my health and leading me down a path of an early death. Now, that guilt is gone and I feel free and confident that I control what happens next!

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: This week's weigh-in was both shocking and controversial. What was your reaction when Alison said Jillian had broken the rules?

A. Craig: I felt like we as a team broke the rules and our penalty was fair. We all were ready to move on to what's important and that's getting healthy, physically and mentally.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: How has your weight loss journey been going at home?
A. Craig: It has been nothing short of amazing! I now believe and with that comes progress and hope. I have lost 120 lbs total now and have no plans on slowing down. I plan to win the at home prize! It's really not about the money; it's about proving to myself that I'm finally ready to fix me!
