Kat Edorsson returned to play Survivor with much more on the line the second time around. Not only was she hoping to spend time with her boyfriend, he also happened to be a Big Brother winner. Kat found herself blindsided, on Redemption Island, and asked Hayden Moss to save her by switching places with her. He convinced her it wasn't the best move for the pair, and she ended up going home. We chatted with Kat about her emotional exit from the game and her relationship with Hayden in our exclusive interview.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Were you excited to play the game with Hayden this season?
A. Kat: Yeah, he's my best friend, he's the love of my life. I couldn't ask for a better person.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: After you two were separated, and you were on a tribe with all veterans, who were you most concerned about?
A. Kat: I was more concerned, after I knew everybody? Laura B. I felt like I never knew where her alliance was. I was kinda concerned about Colton a little bit just because. I think that was basically it.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Hayden is playing a very similar game to Big Brother. He's got a great social game and he's athletic. Why isn't anybody thinking about getting rid of him?
A. Kat: Girl, do you know Hayden? I'm telling you, he reminds me so much of my One World winner which is Kim Spradlin. Everybody loves Hayden. He's really genuine and he listens to you. He doesn't talk to talk. You can't find people that don't want to talk to hear their own voice. I just think that it's an incredible quality to have.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Who do you blame more for getting voted out of the game, Tina or Monica?
A. Kat: I blame myself the most because I lied to Monica and I never should've done that. Just don't cross a Culpepper! Tina did throw me under the bus and that was interesting to see. It is what it is. I'm at peace with it but if I had to blame somebody, I'd blame Tina.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You were very emotional at the Redemption Island challenge. What was going on?
A. Kat: My boyfriend lives in Dallas, I live in Florida. I have been dating him less than a month, we're playing a game for a million dollars, and I haven't seen him as long as I've seen him on Survivor. It was 17 days and I'd never even spoken to him. That was the longest I've been in the same place and we didn't even get to speak. He had won Big Brother and I wanted to win so I had something to be proud of and know how proud he was going to be of me. If I were to make it to the merge, whatever happened after that, I know I'd get to spend a few weeks with him. Just that time with my boyfriend would be so nice. I've never done that before! When I said: who doesn't want to be with someone who made it to the merge, it's true. It was really difficult. When you're starving, you really can't control what's going on. It just comes out. It comes out in fighting words, challenges, crying... but I'm gonna hold my head up because I'm proud.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: If Hayden had switched with you at Redemption Island, would you still be in the game?
A. Kat: I would still be in the game. He's in an alliance from what I see with the people that I left off with. When I asked him to switch with me, I knew I'd be safe. For how long, I don't know. But that's why Hayden came and said, "Long term.." Did you hear him? He said it three times! I was like, "Alright well if you wanna say long term, I'll go now."

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What do you want people to know about you that maybe they didn't fully get from watching you this season?
A. Kat: Just know that it's my job in life... if no one is laughing to make sure you laugh at me. I want people having a great time and some aspect of the show showed I'm not loyal or trustworthy. I'm actually really a loyal person. Throughout the season, people were conveying something that I was never about. I've never been unfaithful or disloyal to anyone. And then, have a good time and everything will be fine. Forgive everyone! That's why I said, it takes more strength to be angry with someone. Just be peaceful.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: So you're not bitter?
A. Kat: Absolutely not! Are you kidding? Put me back out there!
