There are rivals that can put their differences aside and then there are rivals that just flat out don't like each other no matter the situation! Aneesa and Diem fall into the latter category. Aneesa doesn't want to work out with Diem because she doesn't feel she has to prove anything and Diem feels Aneesa is difficult to work with. All in all, it's just not a good partnership. Let's see how they do in this week's challenge.
Someone at MTV is really out to torture these contestants and in "Blind Leading The Blind", players are tied together and blindfolded, must make their way through a maze, and will be shocked if they're heading in the right direction. CT and Wes, and Aneesa and Diem, go first and it's clear right from the get go that those electric shocks don't feel good. Still, both teams made great time but the same can't be said for some others. Ty and Leroy take forever to find their way to the finish line, while Nany and Jonna basically stand still for 30 minutes and disqualify! In the end, Frank and Johnny win immunity while Aneesa and Diem pocket $1000 each. So they CAN work together!
At the house, Frank and Johnny look to have the girls throw Jordan and Marlon into The Jungle. After all, they're rookies and they've never even seen an elimination round! Fair enough. Jordan doesn't like to hear his name being tossed around so he asks Frank how the campaign is going. That sets him off and he, in typical Frank fashion, stomps around, beats his chest, yells in Jordan's face, and carries on. This is just not good for Johnny that his partner is a complete loose cannon!
Jordan and Marlon are voted in to face off Ty and Leroy in a competition where one team member plays offense, one plays defense, and someone has to make it past the other to ring their bell first. Jordan rings in first, Ty rings in second, and in an amazing comeback in round three, Jordan and Marlon take the win! How Ty is two feet from the bell and still can't ring it is beyond me!
The Challenge: Rivals 2 airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on MTV.
