The Real Housewives Of New Jersey Season 5: Episode 11 Jacqueline and Teresa

by Jessica Blackwell

When we left off last week, Teresa and Jacqueline were in the middle of a confrontation about the demise of their friendship. Teresa had just asked Jacqueline how she hurt her, and Jacqueline noticeably hesitated.

Never one to hold her tongue for too long, she revealed that she knew Teresa said she should focus on her autistic son instead of being on Twitter talking about her. For once, Teresa didn't deny that she said something hurtful and she apologized to Jacqueline. At the end of the conversation, they just agreed to be civil. I'm sure they won't get back to where they were, but it's a start. They both said things to hurt each other, they've apologized, and now they can move on.

To make up for lost time with his god daughter, Joe took Gia on a go-carting date.  Since Gia is older now and  because Joe Giudice and Teresa have no qualms about talking in front of their children, she had a lot of questions for her uncle, specifically about his actions when he was arguing with her mother. She remembered his behavior at the christening when he was screaming obscenities at her Teresa and he realized that she saw him in some less than desirable positions. Hopefully everything stays peaceful and these two can regain the closeness that they once had.

As with the Gorga family feud, things moved entirely too quickly between Jacqueline and Teresa. One minute they were agreeing to be civil, and the next Jacqueline was in Teresa's house and they were attending a charity event together. The group went to a function for Nephcure, an organization that Teresa got involved in after meeting Matthew, a little boy with a rare kidney disease, who touched her heart. It must have been a total publicity stunt, but it was still for a good cause.  Everyone got to do Zumba to benefit the charity.

Since they all went to the event in a group, they rented a party bus and I thought everyone's peace pact was going to come apart at the seams on that darn bus. First Jacqueline told Teresa to look up the word sociopath since she didn't know what it meant when she called her that. When she did, and found out that it was a  person who lacks a sense of moral responsibility and social conscience (which describes her to a tee!) I thought she was going to blow her top. Then Milania got on the pole on the party bus and said she was Melissa. And nothing happened.. I'm a bit baffled..but at the same time proud of this group. Back in the day, those comments would have been enough to shred that treaty and get some tables flipping!

Now that she's got things under control with Teresa, Jacqueline has time to work on some er, personal improvements. She revealed to Kathy that she's planning on getting a tummy tuck and neck lift in California. "I think it's beautiful when people can grow old gracefully. I just want to fight it" she says. Who can blame the girl after everything she's been through lately. Besides a sexy body, there was another upside to her trip out west: she got to see Ashley! I must say I expected the girl to have to come crying home from Cali, but she looks amazing and it seemed like she's grown up a lot. She was worrying about the surgery more than Jacqueline. Actually, everyone was. Her dad didn't feel that she needed it, and was concerned about the side effects. Thankfully she came out of it like a trooper! I can't wait to see her new look. On a sadder note, Albie's best friend and roommate Chris moved to San Francisco! The show won't be the same without him!

Next week, Melissa deals with those pesky affair rumors again and comes face to face with her accuser! Stay tuned!
