There's no doubt about it. Up against Spencer on the block this week in the Big Brother house, Howard's back in against the wall. In his mind, his best move is to set the record straight with the house so he seizes the moment when he finds everyone gathered in the kitchen. He makes a speech that literally no one can understand. I caught the words: personal, disparage, and whatever whatever.

Up in the HOH room, Andy and Judd were feeling paranoid that Howard was talking to them directly and somehow indicating he was coming after them. Helen's side of the house is convinced that Howard put the last nail in his own coffin. You never know, though. There's still the MVP nomination.

Elissa is sure that Andy got MVP because he seems overly bubbly. America has the power again and decides to put up Amanda! The look on her face is priceless, and McCrae feels positive that Howard is behind it. Man, this game will really make you read into any little thing, won't it? Not helping matters for Amanda is that none of her alliance members were picked to play in the veto competition, as Aaryn drew Jessie's and Candice's names from the bag.

In the competition, players are transported "back in time" to a time when dinosaurs roamed the earth. They must search the backyard for puzzles pieces and create a stone replica of the veto medal. Howard, Candice, and Jessie are downright awful at the challenge and though Amanda comes close, it's Spencer who takes the win.

Afterwards, Candice goes to Helen and says she was hoping for some protection and that she knows she and Elissa are running the game. Worried that Candice will launch a campaign against her, Helen strikes first, telling the houseguests that Candice was threatening her. Aaryn's been waiting for her opportunity to get rid of Candice so at veto ceremony, she asks her to saddle up and take a spot on the couch in between Howard and Amanda.
