Cara Maria and TJ on The Challenge: Rivals 2

by Gina Scarpa

In Anastasia's mind, things are really heating up between her and CT on The Challenge: Rivals 2, but little does she know that he's still in love with Diem. How she doesn't know that is beyond me. Everyone knows about CT and Diem, but not Anastasia. Speaking of showmances (or romances), Sarah seems quite taken by Jordan and by the end of the episode, they're getting awfully close!

CT is asked about whether or not he slept with Ana, which he denies, and Trishelle has a hard time believing she's lying about it. Frank gets involved for no reason and within minutes, he and CT are about to come to blow. Thank goodness for Knight, who not only steps in between them but literally tackles Frank to the ground to keep them apart.

At the next challenge, TJ introduces Cooke to her new partner, Cara Maria. The sound of silence as she runs across the beach is deafening - yeah, no one is happy to see her. Besides the fact that she's not exactly popular, she's an upgrade from Naomi and remember that Cookie is a Division 1 athlete. That target just got way, WAY bigger.

In the Triple X Games, there are two rounds. The first round consists of sawing through a log using your pelvic muscles instead of your arms. Since it's not a guys elimination day, Wes immediately drops out, too uncomfortable to pelvic thrust in CT's direction. Depending on how teams finish, they get to start in that same order for the second round where one team member holds another one upside down, puts a ball in their mouth, drop it in the sand so that their partner can pick it up in their mouth and put it in a pipe. It's as gross as it sounds.

Zach and Trey win for the second week in a row, this time banking $1000, while Paula and Emily take it for the girls, ensuring their safety from The Jungle. Back at the house, some votes are thrown towards Sarah and Trishelle, but it's Anastasia and Jesica who end up with the most. As if things aren't bad enough for Anastasia, she realizes that CT is just playing her and goes off, screaming at him and hitting him. Once again, Knight jumps in to save the day. Who would've ever thought he's be the peacekeeper?

At the elimination round, the two teams hang upside and cut through a rope, which will send their opponent into the water below. Anastasia feels sick and has to sit down before things get started, and an impatient Cooke pees in the water below while waiting. If that's not incentive to win this thing, I don't know what is. Nobody wants to get dunked in the pee water! Cooke and Cara Maria do end up winning, and Anastasia says she's going to black out, while Jessica walks out by herself. The rest of the players just seem to think Ana's nuts, but this game can really take it out of you!
