Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 8: Episode 7 Recap Scott

by Jessica Blackwell

Kim found out that the mega mansion she and Kanye purchased wouldn't be ready until to move into until February, which put her in a tough spot considering her baby was due in June. Ever the problem solver, Kris thought it would be a good idea for Kim to move in with her until her house was ready.

Kim  promised she would think about it, but she continued to look for houses to live in. When her search yield beautiful homes but no security or safety, she agreed to move in with her mother - for a month. After the foot rubs and pampering that Kris bestowed upon her, I'm sure that she stayed longer than a month. Besides, she'll need her mom's support when her crazy famous baby daddy is out touring and whatnot.

Case in point, since Kanye was busy recording his new album, Kim was struggling with the basics of preparing for motherhood, like putting together the stroller and crib. To Kourtney's dismay, Scott was right there to help Kim out and pick up the slack. Scott was just trying to be helpful, especially since Kim admitted Kanye has never held a baby and she doesn't like most kids. After Kourtney freaked out on him for going to dinner with Kim and not telling her, Scott decided he better be less disclosing about his plans to help Kim. When he failed to mention a CPR class that he attended with Kim, Kourtney reminded about all those times when he was less than supportive to her, moments that the producers of the show so helpfully flashed back to.

When Kourtney walked in on Scott helping Kim get set up at her mom's house,  a tantrum followed that included Kourtney questioning Kris's parenting skills. After claiming that Kris wouldn't know how many towels Kim would need because she had a million nannies, she stormed out of the room. Her mother thought she was mad that she was no longer the only one pushing out  Kardashian babies and that the attention was less on her, but I think Kourt just hasn't gotten over all the times Scott wasn't there for her. After she realized that he was just a different person now and that he's changed she let it go and it was all good.

Meanwhile in the Jenner camp, uber competitive Bruce launched yet another competition, this time with ping pong with his son Brandon.  In his best efforts to beat his old man, Brandon got a coach to help him improve his game, and he didn't just get any old coach - he got a girl who was on the world team for Korea. Bruce was pissed when he found out, but it wasn't like he wasn't trying to gain an edge himself when he purchased a ball spitter to help up his game. In the end, it was enough for Bruce that Brandon won second place, helping redeem his family name.

Next week, the family goes to Greece, and tension between Brody and Kris comes out!
