Following in the footsteps of her sister in-law (and arch nemesis), Melissa is entering the world of book publishing. While Teresa has written several best selling cookbooks, Melissa is attempting to make marriages better with an advice book on how to keep a sexy marriage. Teresa, of course, is hating on her book deal and indicating that she has no business writing a book about a happy marriage. 

Melissa's publishers encouraged her to dig deep and get personal, but unfortunately that meant delving into some painful memories. Although she loves and cherishes her father's memory, she revealed that he was not a faithful husband to her mother. She had to make the hard decision of whether or not she was going to include that in her marriage book. After all, those memories are not only hers, they also belong to her sisters and her mother and she has to consider their feelings. 

Victoria and Rich were both celebrating "almost" milestone birthdays. It's Rich's last year in his forties and Victoria's last in her teens. Teresa wasn't in attendance but she  seemed to be the main topic of conversation anyway.  Caroline dished out some unwanted advice to Melissa and suggested that she doesn't try hard enough and that she holds her own grudges. Melissa of course felt Caroline was way off the mark.  She suggested Kathy to step off since Teresa seemed to not be able to have a relationship with her own brother. Rosie took that opportunity to loudly verbally trash Teresa in front of the entire party, upsetting Victoria, who didn't want to talk about "that girl" on her birthday. Understandable. 

Teresa ran into her brother at "HER" gym and of course, wondered why he was even there. They hadn't seen each other in a year, so of course it was an awkward meeting. The first thing Teresa did was tell Joe that his wife hadn't gone to see their father in the hospital wasting not time trying to make Melissa look like a bad wife. Joe had enough of Teresa trying to bad mouth his wife, so he where he usually backs down to her, he kept handing the truth to her on a silver platter. Not only did he tell her that she was obsessed with his wife, he bought up some very hard truths about her marriage that she probably only admits to herself in the dark. 

While Teresa insists that the problems with her brother began when he married Melissa, Joe believes that Teresa made a terrible choice when she married Joe Giudice. I agree!  Although he knew she would run away, he reminded her that her husband is a terrible father, and husband and a cheater to boot. Teresa knew it was all true, but she denied denied denied. Sure as the wind blows, she took off, but not before throwing the remaining contents of her water bottle on him and throwing a garbage can ala table style. 

Any hopes that Caroline had of them quickly regaining a healthy relationship just went down the tubes. Stay tuned to see the aftermath of the explosive fight!
