The Voice Season 4 Finale Danielle

by Jessica Blackwell

Danielle Bradbery has been crowned The Voice! The 16 year-old Texan beauty went from singing by herself in her bedroom, to performing in front of millions of people, to becoming this season's Voice winner!

All the odds were stacked in Blake's favor for the finale - two of the three remaining contestants were on his team and he won twice before. Despite Adam's fantasies about winning the Voice with a country artist - Blake won with his shining country star. Sorry Adam!

The Voice's very own Christina Aguilera opened the show with Pitbull, performing their mega hit "Feel This Moment". I can't wait until she's back in that red seat next season! Before the moment of truth came, we saw some great performances. Michelle performed "Counting Stars" with One Republic and Danielle got to perform with one of her favorite country artists - Hunter Hayes. One of the best moments of the night was when Garrett, Josiah, Chris, ad Vedo joined forces to perform the Motown classic, "Ain't Too Proud to Beg"! Man I missed those guys! Florida Georgia Line rocked the stage with Nelly, performing their perfect summer anthem "Cruise" and had everyone bobbing their heads and dancing.

Bruno Mars graced us with his majestic presence as he brought it back old school with his funky new single "Treasure". Right before The Voice was revealed, Cher performed her new single "A Woman's World" and showed the hopeful contestants what longevity looks like. She's still rocking it 48 years after "I Got You Babe" came out. Let that sink in for a moment. She's a true living legend!

After all the fun and games it was time to get down to the nitty gritty and announce the winner! The Swon Brothers were eliminated first, coming in third place, leaving Michelle and Danielle remainig. When Carson announced that Danielle won, she instantly got emotional and was too nervous to even give a speech. When they shoved a microphone in her hand and forced her to sing, she only got about 10 words out before she had to stop. Blake and Adam were right, she swept the competition and just kept rising to the top! Congratulations Danielle!!!

This season was filled with surprises and greats artists. Everyone though Judith Hill would win the competition, and she didn't even end up in the Top 5. The Swon Brothers made Voice history as the first duo to reach the finale, but Danielle made her own history as the youngest person to win The Voice. I know Michelle and The Swon Brothers will get record deals, and a car is a pretty good consolation prize! I can't wait to hear the great music that is going to come from the artists of this season!
