Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 5 Episode 3 Melissa and Kim D

by Jessica Blackwell

Jacqueline did extensive research about possible treatments for autism and found that a hyperbaric oxygen chamber bed could possibly help the condition,  so of course she ordered one for little Nicholas. It was so cute to see Jacqueline put in so much of an effort to make him feel comfortable in the bed. After she got him settled in, Caroline decided that it was time to talk about her favorite subject - Teresa. Upon hearing that Teresa expected an apology from her, Jacqueline burst out laughing. Caroline continued to push the envelope giving her updates about the situation between Teresa and her brother - something she couldn't care less about. I think Caroline should worry about why her sister is bringing pythons, dogs, and pigs into her home and try to stay out of Giudice/Gorga drama..

Teresa's friend Linda (let's keep in mind that to Teresa, a friend is anyone who tells her she's right all the time) spotted Kathy, Jacqueline, and Melissa working out at the gym Teresa goes to, so of course she called to tell Teresa. After lamenting about how fat Jacqueline and Kathy are, she and Teresa came to the conclusion that they must have purposely gone to that gym in hopes to run into her! Cause you know, no one can go to that gym but Teresa...

Caroline wasn't too far off the mark when she said that Teresa and Joey need to make peace before their father passes away. Their father's health deteriorated and he got pneumonia and was rushed to the hospital. His health scare affected the entire family, but Joe Giudice could give a crap, gleefully reminding Teresa that one day, he won't come out of the hospital. Kathy began to look at the strain between she and Teresa in a real way, and wanted to go to the hospital to see her uncle. Joe Gorga was upset, I'm sure, but was dealing with his own health, as he seemed to have some kind of virus that prevented him from going to visit his Dad in the hospital and attending Gia's birthday party.

Poor Gia was just trying to have a good birthday, but her parents just couldn't let her.  Teresa threw a huge, over the top party for her , of course, but everything didn't go smoothly for the birthday girl. First, she had to endure a lecture from papa Joe about spending more time with her family and watching out for boys. Hmm.. I think someone needs to have that talk with himself! He sleeps in a separate bedroom from his wife and is clearly cheating! It was comical, it really was. Then, Teresa kept asking her about how she felt about her uncle Joe not going to her party, despite her telling her numerous times she doesn't care.  At the hair salon, Milania was cussing the stylist out, demanding to get her nails done, and just plain being a terror. That poor kid is going to disown that family, it seems like she has way to much pressure from her mom and sisters.

Melissa brought her kids to Gia's party despite the tense situation between her and Teresa. She went alone, even though she wasn't on good terms with anyone who was in attendance, and of course, she was attacked. Kim D (why was she at a child's birthday party?) threw her scary skeleton body all over her, questioning why she was at the gym at the time she was, and then Teresa interrogized her(Teresa's word) about when she went to the hospital to see her father in-law.

I will admit, Melissa gave conflicting versions of when and if she visited her father in-law at the hospital. In a conversation with her husband, she told him she would take Gia with her to go see him since Joey couldn't go. Then she told Kathy that she was sick too (despite having just done a strenuous workout and barely breaking a sweat) and didn't want to expose him to germs. Then when Teresa and Kim D confronted her, she said she did go! It was all very confusing, but I'm sure she has a good excuse. Nonetheless, given the fragile state of their relationship, Teresa shouldn't be questioning her about anything. There is a beauty in simply saying hi and bye and Teresa needs to explore that!

Next week, Teresa and her brother come face to face and it doesn't seem to go to well. Stay tuned!
