The Voice Season 4 Holly, Carson Daily, and The Swan Brothers

by Jessica Blackwell

Tonight on The Voice, it was a good night for everyone except one lone contestant. To mix things up a bit, only one artist will be going home and the remaining five will be advancing to the semi-finals. They showed some clips from when Blake had some of the contestants perform at "Healing the Heartland" a benefit concert for the victims of the devastating tornado that ravaged Oklahoma and that was pretty cool. It's great to see him helping out his home state.

There were also some great performances tonight. First, season three winner Cassidy Pope graced The Voice stage yet again to perform her new single "Wasting All These Tears" which Carson said has already risen to the top of the iTunes country chart. Then Michelle and the birthday girl Sasha performed the classic dance song "Open Your Heart".  Of course we couldn't end the show without a country number, so Holly and The Swan Brother performed "Leave the Pieces" made famous by The Wreckers.

Here is who was saved by America, in order:

Michelle

The only contestant left from Team Usher, passionate Michelle's performances earned her the honor of being saved first by America.

Sasha

What a great gift for the birthday girl - Sasha was the second person to be saved by America. Shakira promised more Sasha-fierceness next week if Sasha was saved, so I can't wait to see what they have in store for next week.

Danielle

Blake insists that we're watching a star being born when we watch Danielle perform, and he may be right!

Amber

Adam was confident that her performances last night were enough to keep her on the show and he was correct.

Finally,  it was down to Holly and The Swan Brothers, both Blake's artists. Blake looked more nervous than the contestants, and I know he wanted to save both of them. America made their choice, and The Swan Brothers will be advancing to the finals of the competition. Both Holly and Blake seemed to be holding back tears when it was announced, and The Swan Brothers gave her a huge hug. We watched Holly really come into her own on this show and it is really sad to see her go.

We're down to five contestants now and it's anyone's guess who will win. Stay tuned for next week's performances!

The Voice airs Mondays at 8pm EST, and Tuesdays at 9pm EST on NBC.
