Desiree Hartsock of The Bachelorette Season 9

After heartbreak on The Bachelor, fan favorite Desiree Hartsock has returned to the mansion for her shot at love on the ninth installment of The Bachelorette. 25 men have descended upon a fleet of limos to try to make the best entrance and impression possible in the hopes of catching her interest. As always, some introductions are good, some are forgettable, and some are just cringeworthy. In fact, on Sean's season of The Bachelor, we deemed Desiree's intro one of the best. Here's a look at some of the most memorable from last night's premiere.

BEST: DREW
While most suitors opt for something over the top (and cheesy), a simple hug and a smile can go a long way. How could you not be smitten with Drew? Sweet and sincere, he threw his arms around Des and told her he was looking forward to getting to know her better. The two ended up hitting it off and it wasn't long before he had a rose on his lapel.

WORST: ZAK W
I really wanted to give this one to anyone who mentioned the fountain or making a wish (looking' at you Brad and Michael G), but Zak's shirtless performance won him a spot in the worst category. It's not even that he ran around all night, missing half of his outfit. It's that, standing outside of the mansion, he actually said the words, "Will you accept these abs?" Despite that AND jumping into the pool all by himself, he still got a rose by the end of the night.

BEST: JAMES
James wanted to make it clear to Desiree that loyalty and love go hand in hand. They're both going to get older, he's probably going to gain some weight along the way, but what really matters is staying true to one another. Yes, James was a little nervous but he was saying all the right things and it seemed like it was coming from the heart.

WORST: LARRY
Larry, a doctor from Kansas, had practiced his first impression move many times before meeting Desiree. He planed a little dance, complete with a surprise dip, intended to be romantic. What he didn't account for was Des getting all caught up in the back of her expensive dress, which she did not seem too thrilled about. Couple that with a few too many drinks inside, and he was just destined to head home.

BEST: BEN
The minute Ben's little son Brody stepped out of the limo, he won me over. Des couldn't help but be taken by the little guy, who asked his dad after, "Did I do everything?" After Brody was sent off with Gramma for the rest of the night, Ben and Des were able to have a very natural and easy conversation. He got the first rose of the night but based on the preview for the season, their relationship isn't going to be smooth sailing.

WORST WORST WORST: JONATHAN
I thought it was bad enough when Jonathan presented Desiree with a fantasy suite card upon first meeting her. She's not that kind of girl, buddy! However, it got creepier when he tried to create a fantasy suite so that he could "kiss her on the mouth" (yes, he said those words) and then pulled her into a dark hallway when she kept refusing him. As the guys were about to step in and tell him to take it down a few levels, she put him in the white van of shame and sent him on his way.
