Now that the battle and knockout rounds are behind them, the contestants face the most difficult task yet as they perform alone on the stage and live for the first time in front of millions of viewers. To kick off the show, Team Usher performed Black and Gold and then it was time for the solos! Here are the best performances of the night:

Amber

In what Adam described as her best performance yet, Amber performed Stay by Rihanna and took on the task of the first live performance. Taking a break from her usual rock n' roll songs, she stripped herself way down and delivered a beautiful solo performance.

Sarah

Singing one of my favorites,"In The Arms Of An Angel" by Sarah McLachlan, Sarah once again proved why she is one of the favorites in the competition. She made this hit song completely her own and the judges loved it! Let's just hope the rest of America feels the same way.

Vedo

Since Vedo is a great performer, Usher gave him a new challenge this week. He gave him an emotional ballad, so he wouldn't be able to use his charming dancing skills to win the audience over. Vedo sure showed Usher, because he nailed this performance!

Michelle

Usher was looking for her to open up and show her emotions during her live performance. During rehearsals, he made her sing to her mirror image, and she felt like the song was a great choice for her. I'm used to seeing quirky from Michelle, but heartfelt does just fine on her. All of the judges were shocked by her awesome performance and I'm looking forward to more of her.

Judith

A perfect conclusion to first round of live shows, Judith performed my favorite song - "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone. Whenever anyone attempts to tackle this song, it makes me nervous, but she did an awesome job! At this point, I will be surprised if she doesn't win the entire competition.

Voting is officially open until 10 a.m EST tomorrow morning - so get your votes in! Stay tuned tomorrow night as the live playoffs continue.

The Voice airs Mondays at 8pm, EST on NBC.
