The Voice Season 4

by Jessica Blackwell

And we're back with Round Three of the Blind Auditions. The previews for tonight boasted some amazing performances, and the singers didn't disappoint! With powerhouses like Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons from last week to compare to, they definitely rose to the occasion!

Here are the best performances from the night:

Taylor Beckham

Texan Taylor, who was training to be an Olympic gymnast traded the balance beam for the stage when she came to audition for The Voice. She performed Mary J Blige's "I'm Going Down" and immediately won over Usher with her soulful voice. Shakira eventually turned around, but she chose Usher. A good choice for her R&B style.

Karina Iglesias

The Miami music teacher with the unique style who sang Melissa Ethridge's "I'm the Only One" was so awesome! It seemed like all the judges wanted her to advance in the competition but they didn't know who would be the right fit for her. Luckily Adam and Blake turned their seats at LITERALLY the last second!

Holly Tucker

When I realized she was singing an Adele song, I instantly felt bad for her. I have never seen a contestant on any singing competition sing an Adele song and do it justice. I won't say she sang it as well as Adele, but she sure surprised me by taking the song and making it all her own. All four judges turned around, but true to her country roots, she chose Blake.

Michelle Chamuel

The self-described nerdy introvert blew me away when she put her personal touch on Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl". The only idiot that didn't turn their chair was Blake, and she joined Team Usher. She was the only contestant smart enough to question the coaches competing for her, and I can't wait to see her perform again!

Monique Abbadie

This gorgeous cuban performing veteran has been singing from the age of six. She appeared on latin mega show Sábado Gigante for over six years, and is amazingly talented. She sang Shakira's "Loca" a very ballsy move, and it worked! She had her pick of all the coaches, but she chose Shakira - a match made in heaven.

In other notable performances, Adam finally stole a country singer from under Blake's nose when he landed Warren Stone! Stay tuned to see what tomorrow night has in store for us!

The Voice airs Mondays at 8pm, EST on NBC.
