Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 5 Episode 19 Greg and NeNe

by Jessica Blackwell

To refresh your memory about where we left off last week, Kenya was twirling out of control since she was in the same breathing space as her ex, Walter. She immediately left the party after declaring Walter a stalker. Even though the party was at Kandi's house, she didn't invite him and had no idea who did.  In fact, the only person that knew he was coming was Phaedra. Go figure. Apparently, he called Apollo and let him know he was showing up at the party, but Phaedra didn't think she had to let anybody know.

Cynthia said that she would have definitely let Kenya know Walter was coming if she knew in advance, but she still felt like Kenya acted like a child when she found out Walter was in attendance. Cynthia made a good point, how hard can it be to break up with someone who it didn't seem like you were dating in the first place?  Nonetheless, Kenya still felt her actions were warranted, but she had to admit Cynthia had a point when she told her it was time to move on. If Kenya had stopped twirling for a minute, she would have seen that Walter's date looked like a straight up hood rat and judging from her mug shot that was circulating the internet after the episode aired, she's no competition for the former Miss USA.

NeNe was reveling in her success on the new normal, so she and Greg were discussing making permanent plans to move to L.A ,should her show get picked up for another season. I wonder how that would work with her spot on RHOA? Real Housewives of Atlanta/L.A? NeNe takes L.A? Whatever happens with her place on the show, talking about the future seemed to make Greg nervous about his place in NeNe's life because he popped the question again. She said yes!!!

NeNe may be getting married to her ex-husband, but she knows how to get out of a relationship that isn't making her happy, and stay out until it is. Porsha should take some pointers from her. She saw a therapist this week and revealed that she felt like Kordell didn't truly understand how hard her miscarriage hit her, and how important it is for her to be able to start a family. She can say whatever she wants about old fashioned values, but it's clear that trying to be a submissive wife and perfect homemaker is breaking her. She can't even bring herself to truly reveal her feelings to her husband so she's bringing him in for a therapy session.

Kenya and Phaedra started filming their respective workout DVDs. I was highly entertained by their insults that were flying back and forth. Kenya said that comparing her and Phaedra would be like comparing Jessica Rabbit to Spongebob Squarepants, LOL! Then Phaedra lamented that her workout would be in the honor of good ole, homegrown, organic booty and not manufactured silicone booty. As they both were filming, Phaedra's project did seem like a joke compared to Kenya's. Kenya was doing actual stretches and exercise and Phaedra was having some kind of retarded dance party. It was also clear who was more in shape since Phaedra was out of breath and cramping up. I really wanted Phaedra's project to prevail since Kenya's is the copy cat, but that wasn't the case. Sorry Phaedra.

People can say what they want about Kandi's sex toy line and gospel single, but she launched a really successful brand and she won the AVN award for "Best Sexy Toy Line of 2012". It's refreshing to see her get her life together after all she's been through. She's got her beautiful new home, a great man who is willing to sign a prenup and about to propose, and several booming businesses.

Next week, Porsha bringsKordell to therapy and Kenya has her party. It's the season finale so you know it's about to be drama, drama, drama!
