This season on Vanderpump Rules, Scheana managed to go from feeling alienated by the clique comprised of Sur coworkers Stassi, Kristen, and Katie to one of Stassi's closest friends. We also watched Scheana's ups and downs from pursuing a music career to dealing with Real Housewife Brandi Glanville about her previous relationship with her ex-husband. Through it all, Scheana has remained positive and showed compassion towards others when they needed it most. We talked to Scheana today after this week's finale in an exclusive interview about the first season of Vanderpump Rules.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: How were you feeling going into the taping of Vanderpump Rules?
A. Scheana: I was initially a little apprehensive about it. I wasn't sure that I wanted to take my acting career that I had and put it on a reality show but when I sat down and I found out it was a career driven show, there was no way I was turning it down.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You worked mostly at Villa Blanca before Sur, so were you prepared for the staff there and all of the drama?
A. Scheana: Honestly? Yes! We've all maybe not been the best of friends, but Tom Sandoval and I were best friends going into this and still are. I knew the girls were going to be drama.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You had to deal with your relationship with Brandi Glanville's ex husband both on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules this season. Is that tough to watch back?
A. Scheana: It was, but I think it was harder for my family. My mom is so protective over me and this is something that was literally seven years ago. For it to keep being brought up in media bothered my mom a little more than me. I'm used to dealing with that stuff. That situation was so long ago and I and already dealt with it and have done different tv shows and interviews about the situation. What I didn't expect was the positive reaction from the audience. There were some mean tweets that I got but I've had so many people embrace the situation and who were so supportive.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Are you and Brandi on better terms than we've seen on the show?
A. Scheana: Yeah, we have seen each other a couple times at a few different events. I don't run away anymore, I don't go and hide! We've had a little bit a small talk. I think it was always be uncomfortable for her so I just let her do her own thing. I don't wanna make her uncomfortable.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: We got to see you perform at The Roxy this season. Do you have plans to do more music?
A. Scheana: Well, I was actually kind of waiting to see the feedback I got before I jumped full force into this. Music is something that is so new to me, like less than a year new! I didn't want to do too much until the audience saw it. I would say for the most part, the reaction has been good. It's had so many downloads on iTunes. I'm just waiting for that check to come!

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What about your acting career? Are you still pursuing that?
A. Scheana: Acting I'm kind of putting on hold for a little bit. It is pilot season and that takes up so much time. My sole focus is hopefully, the second season of our show and working on my music. What I really love is hosting. I got my degree in Broadcast Journalism and I did hosting for 2 years for Young Hollywood. I would love to get back into that!

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: So you're saying that if there's a second season, we'll be seeing more of you.
A. Scheana: Oh 100%! Yeah definitely!

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: You and Stassi started out the season as enemies but you've gotten very close. When I talked to Stassi, she said that she'd trust you with your life! It's crazy how far you've come. How did it come about?
A. Scheana: I mean, I think always being around each other, it was the same thing with Brandi. I'm always running into her. It was a conversation that needed to be had. At the Roxy, what you didn't see was that Stassi, Kristen, and Katie had gotten into a HUGE fight before I came up to her. I thought it was going to turn into Jersey Shore out there. Right as it was breaking up, my boyfriend had stepped in and gave Stassi a hug. I was like, "Do I just leave her crying with my boyfriend?" It didn't even take me that long. The right thing for me to do was to give her a hug and bring her back in. I know what it feels like not to have everyone on your side and be against you. She looked broken.

 

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What are you up to in the meantime while we wait to find out about season 2?
A. Scheana: Well, I actually just booked a performance in Chicago so that'll be my first one since the Roxy. I'm performing on St. Patrick's Day at a club. I have a couple opportunities that I hope go through but I don't wanna say yet and jinx it. My manager is working on a lot of different things for me!
