Mob Wives

I've dubbed this episode of Mob Wives the Coming Home Special. Renee returned from rehab fresh-faced and enlightened, and Lee returned home from prison to his very surprised family.

After she got over the shock of seeing Lee in her house unannounced after a long prison stay, Drita fed him a good meal - herself! Still in a state of shock and confusion, she asked Carla and Big Ang for advice on whether she should give their relationship another try. While Carla advised her not to let him back in so soon, Big Ang politely reminded Carla that not letting Joe back in right away after his stay in prison didn't go  so well for her. Big Ang keeps it real!!

Big Ang wasn't so forgiving when it came to the topic of Carla ex and her impending divorce. She didn't want Carla to give Joe anything, and strongly advised her to hit him where it hurts since he cheated on her their entire marriage and then went to jail. Carla finally sat down to meet his new girlfriend Raquel and although things ended on a good note, Carla basically called her a hoe and I can see plenty of drama coming from this situation - and fast!

Renee completed her treatment in rehab so she headed home to all her friends in Staten Island. They couldn't believe how great she looked and how positive her attitude was. She's now into relaxing activities like bowling and spa services so she took her friends along with her. When she had a bad day however, she just wanted to be alone with Ramona, whom she knew would understand that she was feeling like crap about the one year anniversary of her father's re-incarceration.

Ramona was feeling a little down herself because she felt like she never got over the death of her grandfather Benjamin Ruggiero, also known as Lefty Two Guns, so she had a small prayer service for him in church. Seeing her so emotional over him made me realize that these women do suffer. I think about my own grandfather and what it would be like if everyone called him a bad man. She didn't know he was a gangster at a young age, so he was a different man to her than he is to everyone else.

Big Ang was tired of her man looking raggedy, so she took him to a salon to get fresh. BTW, she officially let him back into the house. To repay her, he cooked her a romantic dinner for two. Or tried rather, because he almost burned the whole house down! He seems to be on his best behavior right now, but something tells me Neal will be kicked back out of the house in no time!

Karen definitely likes the gangsters and the thugs, particularly those that are yellow in skin color. Her daughter's father fits that description and so does the guy Storm she is working with in the studio. She was shamelessly flirting with him, so I don't doubt that she plans to sleep with him, if she hasn't already done the deed.  She might just be on the rebound since she's now having to accept that she and David are really over.

Renee just wanted everyone to get along, but Love started hearing rumors about Carla running her mouth about her. Since knives are her speciality, of course she's threatening to stab her. Carla better take her skinny legs and run! She knows how to talk crap, but certainly can't back it up!

Next week, Ramona announces her engagement, Karen hearts things up with Storm, and the drama with Love and Carla continues.

Mob Wives airs Sundays at 8/7c on VH-1.
