Mob Wives Season 3 Episode 6 Renee and AJ

by Jessica Blackwell

In this episode of Mob Wives, the housewives were left to pick up the pieces after Hurricane Sandy transformed their home into a war zone. Coming from someone who lives in the Northeast, it was really hard to relive the devastation of that massive storm.

Drita used the tragedy as an opportunity to teach her girls an important lesson: you don't have to know someone to help them. They packed up everything they could, and donated it to those in need.

Big Ang was cooking up a storm to pass food around to her friends and family despite the fact that she lost her salon. She even put out the word on Twitter for people to bring items to donate to the Drunken Monkey. She got truckloads of items to help - food, water, baby supplies and more. With the way she was acting, you would never know she lost anything

Karen and Ramona helped their friends that had been displaced by the storm in any way they could.

Although the homes of all the housewives were intact, they had several close friends that lost everything. Staten Island, referred to as the forgotten borough by Ramona, really pulled together as a community to help each other. I have to give a shout out to the ladies of the show, they really gave a hand during a time of need.

Renee was feeling helpless in rehab since she was so far away from home where her community was in shambles. As another step in her recovery, AJ came in for some family counseling. Hearing him give a first person account of her drug use, Renee realized he was actually aware when she was using. Hearing his words made her break down in sobs, but she needed to hear it. Hopefully his testimony will be enough to keep her sober, that kid has been through enough. At her graduation ceremony, many of her friends from Transitions got up to say really nice words to her to send her off.

Ramona downsized to a smaller apartment for financial reasons since she is getting absolutely no support from her ex. She is glad that the upkeep will be easier, but she wanted to be upgrading at this point in her life, not scaling back. I feel her, but with a boyfriend, excuse me fiancé, about to do hard time, it seems like she'll be going it alone for a while.

Love, with her dysfunctional self, was dealing with her unhealthy relationship with her on again, off again boyfriend Joey. To be clear, this is the ex where she stabbed him in front of his mother. Apparently, he also got into a vicious fight with Lee where Lee hit him with a baseball bat. Sigh...Oh Love, what will we do with you?

Drita was helping her daughters prepare for Lee's homecoming and I think she got a little too candid. Warning her daughters to keep everything neat is one thing, but Aleeyah asked how her grandfather died, and she told her the FBI killed him. Given her age, I think a little censoring was necessary, but to each his own I guess.

It's a good thing she started prepping the girls, because Lee ended up surprising her by pooping up at her house! I can't wait to see what happens now that he's home!

Next week, Karen confronts someone from her past, Renee returns, and Drita has her man home!
