Well, as Snooki put it, now what? Baby Lorenzo is here, and it was time for the young couple to bring their little meatball home. Both ladies dealt with messy situations this week, just very different messy situations. 

 

Jenni and Roger were settling in on their trip to Maine. Their first day there, Roger took Jenni out on a boat to go fishing. Although she fished before, she didn't expect to catch anything, so when she had to reel in her first fish, she was shocked. Jenni ended up catching three bass fish, which they released back into the water.  They thought they were fishing alone on the boat, until they spotted Charlotte, a good sized spider who had spun her web on the motor of the boat. 

 

Jenni may have survived fishing, but clamming was another story. I never realized how much work you had to put in just to get a few clams. Digging through the mud, trekking through the wetland, all to get a tiny clam. She did manage to eat a raw clam in the field however, which was gross!  If she thought clamming was hard, she had no idea what was in store for her when they went lobster fishing. I bet she didn't realize how many different types of seafood she would be dealing with on their Maine trip. 

 

They had to wake up at 5 a.m to hit the road and Jenni was barely awake. When they got on the boat, the aroma of fermenting fish certainly woke her up - and made her want to vomit. And sadly, she was responsible for filling the traps with the moldy fishes to catch the lobsters. When she had to go to the bathroom, she had to pee in a bucket but at least Roger dumped it for her. 

 

Roger was very impressed with her outdoorsy attitude and her lack of complaining. Maybe he'll be so impressed that he'll pop the question. Jenni got Roger's dad stamp of approval which made all her hard work worth it. He told Roger he already considers he a part of his family. 

 

Snooki says that she has great maternal instincts. Those instincts include putting the diaper on backwards and smelling her baby's farts. Despite loving his farts, Snooki decided that her son smelled like cheese and his hair looked greasy, so it was time for his first bath. While Jenni was dealing with all sorts of stinky sea dwelling creatures, Snooki was cleaning her cheese smelling baby and wiping poo! 

 

Snooki and Jioni tried to do the smart thing and alternate who gets up with the baby but it wasn't working out. They both got up every time he had to eat, and needless to say, they were exhausted. Baby Lorenzo's furniture finally arrived so his corner in the basement looks like a real baby's room now. 

 

Next week, the Maine trip comes to an end. Will Roger pop the question before it's over? Stay tuned to find out!
