Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 5 Episode 11 Phaedra

by Jessica Blackwell

By now, the whole world (reality tv world, that is) knows that the relationship between Walter and Kenya was fake. While he may have signed on for a fake relationship, I'm sure he didn't volunteer himself for the insinuations of homosexuality that followed. Rumors in the blogosphere, started by Kenya's friends, were saying that the reason the relationship ended was because he was gay. It became clear last week when Kenya made a huge deal about him not wanting to have sex with her when she was all soaped up and naked after a shower that she wanted the public to believe the same. Maybe sexy with a dose of crazy just isn't really his thing?

First of all, she made it seem like the whole breakup was her idea, when he clearly didn't give a shizz that she walked away at the fishing hole. When Kenya's aunt Lori and cousin Che came over, they deduced the same thing: Walter must be gay if he doesn't want Kenya. Oh please! Everyone loved Walter until he didn't want to deal with Kenya's crazy self anymore, and now he's flawed and gay?  Kenya wasn't too pleased to find out that Walter tried to get with her cousin a few years back, a fact that should have been divulged wayyy before any of this happened, in my opinion.

NeNe and Greg were struggling to adjust to their life on the West Coast. She finally found a house for their family to rent in Hollywood Hills, and Kenya sent her a truckload of furniture to decorate their new abode.  NeNe is really moving on up, she's got a role in a brand new sitcom and neighbors like Larry Flynt and Mel Gibson. The move took a toll on both of them and also put their relationship on new ground. Greg, previously used to being the breadwinner, became a house-husband so his sole job is to make their lives run smoothly while NeNe is taping.

Apollo and Phaedra began working with Kenya to get the wheels turning for their Donkey Booty workout tape. Since Phaedra was going to be putting up 100K of her own money, she had her lawyer look over the deal that Kenya arranged for her like any smart woman would do. Her lawyer felt that Kenya inflated the budget and asked for changes to be made and requested that a new contract be drawn up to reflect those changes. Kenya expected to receive 10% of the earnings as well, and both Phaedra and her attorney didn't agree with that. Phaedra had a conversation with Todd, Kandi's boyfriend and apparently, he told her he could make the workout tape for a quarter of the budget Kenya suggested. Either way, Kenya deserves something for the production work on the tape, but Phaedra didn't counter with anything

Since Kandi's daughter Riley couldn't attend the party Kandi was planning for Todd's birthday, she baked him a cake, which was sweet.  Kandi seems like she has a good head on her shoulders when it comes to parenting because she's focused on making sure her daughter doesn't get spoiled just because they moved into a big house in a rich area. However, Kandi spared no expense when it came to her man's birthday, and took him on a helicopter ride over Atlanta. Then she told him they were going to dinner, but she really brought him to his surprise party, where she invited all their friends and flew out his family, including his mother.

Kenya was still on a warpath about Phaedra attempting to cut her out of any profits from the workout when she attended Todd's party. She was annoyed that Phaedra spoke to Todd about the exercise production, attempted to discuss it with him at his own party - until Kandi shut it down. Then Kenya attempted to divide and conquer, and speak to Apollo without Phaedra present. He did believe that Kenya deserved a portion of the profits, but Phaedra wouldn't budge and he didn't dare cross his wife.

Cynthia and the Bailey Agency were supposed to cast for the workout tape, but Phaeda ruined all of that when she tweeted for girls to come to the Bailey agency if they wanted to be in the video. Cynthia cancelled it because she didn't have any information and Phaedra's tweet sent her business into a tailspin. Kenya was present, because she still thought she was working on the project, but ended up quitting when she and Phaedra couldn't come to an agreement about her fee.

It appears that when Kenya gets mad, she gets even, because the previews for next week reveal that she attempts to produce her own booty workout tape! Stay tuned for more Donkey Booty drama!
