The Top 4 on The Voice Season 3

by Todd Betzold

Four singers start the night out on The Voice, but by the end of this hour we will be down to the final three singers that will be battling it out for the title of The Voice next week! Things were intense last night and it will continue tonight. Which singer will go home tonight? Let's get to it folks!

We start out with a look back at last night and then get some words from the coaches, of course to waste some time. The first duet of the night comes from Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott, as Team Blake takes the stage to sing "Little Talks" by Of Monsters and Men. This was a fun performance and a great song choice for the two rock singers.

Juliet Simms, the runner-up from Season 2, returns to the stage to sing her new single "Wild Child." She was amazing to me, but this song was a little too much for me. I think it would grow on me, but it was a little too tough for me.

Time for the first results of the night, as the Top 4 take the stage and Carson Daly reveals the first singer safe tonight. From Team Blake, it is Terry McDermott. I saw this one coming, but who didn't, right?

Another performance from a singer from Season 2 as RaeLynn from Team Blake takes the stage. Carson said she is taking the country world by storm, but she seemed to be struggling through this song. Her new single is "I Want Your Boyfriend."

Some more confessionals on The Voice, which are funny to watch and then another Season 2 veteran returns, as Team Christina's Chris Mann sings his new single "Roads." He has had a successful time since The Voice and the song is good.

The other three singers take the stage to find out some more results. After a touching moment for Nicholas, we find out that Cassadee is safe tonight and Team Blake is moving on to the finals. That leaves us with Nicholas and Trevin!

We won't get those final results of the night yet, as Nicholas and Trevin take the stage for the Team Cee Lo duet, which is "Hero" by Mariah Carey. This was a song that would showcase Trevin, so did NBC pick it because they knew it would be his last song?

The final results of the night as Trevin and Nicholas take the stage. The final singer safe tonight is Nicholas!!! So, Trevin is headed home and our Final 3 are Cassadee, Terry and Nicholas. What do you think?

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
