Yolanda on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 3

by Gina Scarpa

When we last left the ladies of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa snubbed Adrienne by not inviting her to her party at Villa Blanca. Adrienne clearly isn't over it, and vents to Kyle about it during a shopping trip. She wants to apologize but doesn't feel she'll get an apology back from Lisa. Then again, does she deserve one? Kyle certainly doesn't think so - and I'm not sure I do either.

The two women head to Taylor's house, with their families in tow, for a dinner. Paul points out that Adrienne never pigs out and the amount of food on her place is ridiculous - not only because a human being can't live off of that, but because Taylor went through the trouble of preparing food for them. Eat at least a little bit more! Taylor asks Paul and Mauricio to do the Walk A Mile In Her Shoes event in Sacramento to benefit domestic violence. The guys are totally on board, except it's the same day as Kyle's daughter's Portia's birthday. With a little creative shuffling of schedules, both events are able to happen.

Yolanda meets up her daughter Gigi at a photo shoot and it's immediately evident where she got her good looks from. Gigi takes right after her mother and is a very successful model. It seems Yolanda can't let go of her heyday though and jumps in all over the set, giving her opinion on Gigi's clothes, makeup, and pictures. At one point, she tells someone not to make her daughter look so Chinese looking. Wow! I'm trying to really like Yolanda too but this pushiness and lack of awareness for her own behavior has me on the fence.

Taylor and company board a private jet for Sacramento, with the exception of Kyle, who's busy prepping for Portia's party back at home. Mauricio and Paul are great sports, but Paul definitely cheats a bit with his choice of shoes. Moon boots are hardly heels! The event is a huge success and everyone is able to make it back to Kyle's. Bonus.

Lisa stops in to Portia's party early but leaves before any other guests arrive. She says she has some sort of wine tasting but she's probably hoping to avoid running into Adrienne. Kyle offers to host a dinner for the two women to talk out their issues, but over Lisa's dead body. There's no reconciliation in sight for these two. Camile shows up, and it's nice to see how far she and Kyle have come. The other ladies could take some notes on their friendship. Yolanda opts not to go, sending a gift instead, and Brandi has major anxiety because of her issues with so many of the other guests. When Taylor shows up, she flat out ignores Brandi, which sends her complaining to Kyle. Because Kyle has nothing better to do than listen to her whine about whether or not someone said hello to her.

Kim finally shows up to celebrate her niece's birthday but the other family members are too busy to attend. Everyone tries to get the dirt on what's going on with Kim and her boyfriend, but she remained pretty tight lipped about it. Taylor tries to start drama about Brandi telling Yolanda that she slept with everyone in Beverly Hills, but Kyle runs away in the hopes of avoiding drama.  Try as she might, there's no avoiding Adrienne who will just not stop talking about her issues with Lisa.  It's a four year old's birthday party, can the adults here please act like it?!

Next week, Lisa and Adrienne are going to have to face each other whether they like it or not, when Yolanda hosts a party for the women at her house.  And perhaps hell has frozen over because they two are going to meet up for a drink and talk things out.  Oh, I can't wait to see how this plays out.
