It's finally time for Tandang and Kalabaw to merge on Survivor: Philippines! Instead of one tribe joining another at their camp, a boat shows up to pick up both groups and take them a new place to call home. With only ten minutes to pack up, it is a mad dash around both beaches with a few scrambling to grab their idols to take with them into the second half of this game.

During the feast, it was so odd to see people shake hands and introduce themselves to each other for the first time. Even though they've play together for weeks, they still don't know anything about one another. Jeff and Carter immediately looks to blindside Penner with the help of Pete, Abi-Maria, and Artis. However, RC and Skupin are hoping that Kalabaw will stay together and they can join them so that they can pick off their former tribemates one by one. Lisa generously hangs up everyone's wet clothes and accidentally uncovers Malcolm's idol. Realizing his cover was blown, he forms a (loose) alliance with both her and Denise, even going as far to say they're the final three. Only one problem with that. He can't win in that scenario, especially against Denise.

Oh, and the tribe's new name is Dangrayne... and I have no idea why.

In the first individual immunity challenge of the season, players had to hold a bucket weighing 25% of their total body weight up until they no longer could. When it dropped, they were out. With targets on their backs, you'd think Skupin and Penner would fight to the death but they were two of the first people out. Denise hung in there against the women, FINALLY winning something while it came down to Jeff and Carter for the men. Jeff decided to toss the competition to Carter. Yeah, you hear me. Someone from a tribe without the numbers willingly dropped his bucket. Oh well, not like he was in trouble anyway.

Going into tribal, Dangrayne was debating between RC, Pete, and Jonathan to vote out. Jonathan isn't stupid though and realizes that his own trusted alliance members may be about to turn on him so he keeps that idol close. At tribal council, Tandang makes it abundantly clear that they're not one big happy family, but Lisa jumps in to point out the stupidity of jumping ship. Not only does it show you can't be trusted, but it also puts you at the bottom of the totem pole in the new alliance. She knows what she's talking about!

Before Jeff read the votes, Penner decided to play his idol and it's a good thing because it would've been his torch that got snuffed. Instead, the six votes against him didn't count and Pete narrowly escaped elimination, with RC leaving the game for good.
