Jessica Sanchez has kept herself busy with both the American Idol tour and her upcoming debut album that she's currently recording, but she just added something even bigger onto her plate. This week, Michael Ausiello reported on his site, TVLine.com, that the Season 11 runner-up will be joining the cast of Glee. There are no details yet about when she'll make her debut, or how long her character's storyline will last, but rumors are swirling that she'll play a new love interest for Corey Monteith's Finn.  After all, Executive Producer Brad Falchuk did tell TVLine that Finn will have a post-Rachel romance mid-season.

So will Finn be robbing the cradle?! After all, Jessica is just 16 years old and if Ryan has her stay true to her age, does that mean Finn will be hanging around the halls of McKinley High the way Kurt was earlier this season? Perhaps she'd be a better match for recent Glee Project winner Blake Jenner.  If you've got ideas for who you'd like to see Sanchez play, post them below!

Though we aren't sure exactly what Jessica will be singing just yet for the show, creator Ryan Murphy Tweeted "With voices like Jessica, Lea, Naya, Melissa, Amber, and Jenna...Streisand episode?" Lea Michele has already taken on Don't Rain On My Parade, but there are plenty of Barbra Streisand songs to go around for the ladies of Glee, and their powerhouse voices.
