Teams pick up The Amazing Race in Shanghai, China this week and head to the airport to get the second leg underway. They're headed to Surabaya, Indonesia and the team that reaches the pit stop first will win an Express Pass. Rob and Kelley decide to take a different flight than the other teams, with a layover in Hong Kong, while the remaining nine board the same plane via Jakarta. In Jakarta, James and Abba grab a flight that gives them an hour jump while Rob and Kelley sit through a four hour layover in Hong Kong. Would've been good to think that one through before doing it...

It doesn't end up mattering anyway because everyone catches up at Alun Alun Stadium, grabbing numbers to sign up for an 8am bull race. During the overnight, Natalie and Nadiya solidify their alliance with Trey and Lexi, hoping to make it to the end together. James and Abba are the first to participate in the morning, but it's not quite a race. They ride on motorcycles alongside bulls that fly past them! It all seems fairly dangerous but everyone's having a good time so I'm just going to go with it. Amy and Daniel trail James and Abba, with Abbie and Ryan right behind them. Not surprisingly, Rob and Kelley bring up the rear.

Next up is the Genteng Kali Bridge for a Road Block, where one team member has to use a peddle powered amusement ride for kids and make eight balloon hats and animals at the same time. Lexi blows through the task, putting her and Trey in first. Amy, Nadiya, and rocker James also finish quickly. Gary, the substitute teacher, has an extremely hard time with the task, sweating and shaking through the entire thing.

Teams head to Wijaya Motor Shop for a Detour, but it turns out that the place is extremely difficult to find, with many teams getting lost. The choices for the Detour are Ice By The Pound, where teams have to deliver 10 65lb blocks of ice to a market, or Fish By The Barrel, where teams sort thousands of fish at the market. Natalie and Nadiya finish first and, smelling disgustingly of fish, race towards the pit stop located somewhere in the market. Trey and Lexi sail through the ice challenge and are right on their tail but it's the twins who check in first.

The final order at the pit stop is:

4. Abbie and Ryan
5. Josh and Brent
6. James and Abba
7. Caitlin and Brittany
8. Rob and Kelley
9. Gary and Will
10. Amy and Daniel

While Jaymes and James jumped from 10th to 3rd this week, Amy and Daniel crash and burn to the bottom due to their taxi driver being unable to find Wijaya Motor Shop.  It's heartbreaking loss for a team with so much potential.
