Just when you think no one treats their hookup worse than Trey treats Laura on The Real World: St. Thomas, here comes Marie to take the top spot. Here's a typical example: Robb is nice enough to bring Marie lunch but it's a fish sandwich and she stomps around the house, complaining that she doesn't like fish. She doesn't even have the decency to thank him. Meanwhile, Laura doesn't seem to care that Trey has Chelsea back home and we finally get to see their fun and playful side.

But back to Marie and Robb. Max the bartender is back in town and Marie tells Rob they're going to cool off while she kicks it with him. Classy. It turns out, though, that Marie isn't into Max at all. When she meets up with him for a late night dinner, she claims she's not hungry, then says she's tired and bails early.

Brandon finally meets a girl that captures his interest but she's a bad influence. Kyndra has no interest in supporting his sobriety and constantly encourages him to drink - and drink hard at that. Brandon ends up breaking his sobriety and tries to hide it from the rest of his roommates, which is really unfortunate to see. This guy is easily influenced to make bad decisions. Then again, The Real World isn't exactly the place for people trying to stay sober.

Since Max has been dismissed by Marie, LaToya and Laura see no reason why they can't hang out with him at a local carnival. When Marie gets wind of it, she gets pissed at LaToya. She doesn't want to be around Max, so nobody else gets to either. The argument is as ridiculous as it sounds and LaToya keeps trying to point that out, but Marie isn't having it with her.

The two do end up making up at the carnival because nobody comes between these besties. And besides, Toya didn't end up hanging out with Max after all. Brandon heads out alone to the bar Senor Frogs and parties by himself. This can't be heading anywhere good. Next week, Brandon gets asked by production why he has drugs in his system. Is his time in St. Thomas coming to an end?
