Big Brother 14

I mean OBVIOUSLY Frank is going to be downright livid about what went down on Thursday night's live episode of Big Brother. In an hour, he lost his partner in crime, his makeout buddy, and the person in the house he thought he could trust. As if he didn't feel alone enough in this game, it got a whole lot worse for him that night. Right before the vote to send Ashley home, Frank tells everyone that Joe should be the one leaving because he floats like a bob at the end of a fishing pole. Points for creativity but of course, they didn't listen to him.

Now, there are many people who think that Ian's decisions over the last week were absolutely horrible but I'm here to defend the kid. If he stuck with Frank and Boogie, he knew he wouldn't beat them in physical competitions and ran the risk that they'd take each other to the end. Nobody is winning if they sit next to Frank but somebody COULD if they had a big hand in taking down one of the greatest players of all time and cutting off Frank at the knees by ousting his showmance and faithful ally member. If Ian had any hope of winning this game, he had to make a big move. He may pay for it but people will remember him, and sometimes, the legacy of your game is sometimes better than winning itself. I'm looking at you, Jeff Schroeder.

So Frank stomps around the house, yelling at everybody for what they've just done particularly goes after Ian. Britney steps in and tells him to stop because Ian isn't emotionally capable of handling it. Oh please, but hey, if you wanna protect Ian, go right ahead. Frank is convinced that Dan manipulated Ian into doing his dirty work - as if he wasn't going after him enough. Dan better hope Frank doesn't win HOH.

Speaking of, in that competition, players had to use a pulley system to raise a ball up a course and land it in a hole at the top without it falling. Players were ranked in the first round and Frank was the bottom seed. There's no way he's going to barrel through six other houseguests in order to win, right? Wrong. This guy is unreal and finds himself back in a position of power. Before Dan can run and hide, Frank names him the only Have Not for the week. In two seasons of playing, this is Dan's first time on slop.

Up in the HOH room, Frank encounters Pandora's Box and seems like he's not going to open it but with the promise of money inside, he can't resist. He ends up winning a little over $3K but has to sit locked inside the room for an hour while the houseguests play a game outside. The arcade machine now has a Veto ball in it, meaning there are two Vetos in play this week. Players have to grab quarters, two at a time, from balls that rain down upon them in the backyard and take their best shot at the crane game. Some come close, but it's Ian who wins. If he's nominated, he can save himself but if he's not, he can take someone else off the block.

Frank tries to work with Ian and Britney - after all, he has nowhere to go. He's worried, though, that if he doesn't nominate Ian, he'll use the Veto and mess up his plan of getting Dan out. He and Britney concoct a lie to Ian that if he uses the Veto, Britney will go up as the replacement nom. It would've been smarter to nominate Ian and flush out that extra Veto, but Frank decides to put Dan and Danielle up against one another instead. Sometimes, I think he's better off working alone. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Ian is safe, but Frank's instincts are usually right and he gets swayed by others faster than Ian does!
