After Joe Giudice's jaw dropping betrayal of his wife last week, I thought the drama in New Jersey, well Napa,  couldn't get any better! I stand corrected! 

 

Leave it to Joe Gorga to distract everyone with Tarzan! To avoid the inevitable fallout from Teresa's nasty toast, he invited everyone to join him in the hot tub. Despite his wife's warning about his "good" pants, he jumped right on in. Teresa's excuse for her tasteless toast (she always has one of those handy) was what? That she didn't mean it. Gee, where have I heard this before? Oh yea, all season! She needs to take responsibility for the things that come out of her mouth both in private and in public. 

 

Kathy and Teresa attempted to talk it out in the hot tub, but then the conversation turned to Caroline and Teresa's problems with her. Kathy did all she could to try and get Teresa to work on things with Caroline because she is a true friend, but Teresa wasn't budging. Sounds like a normal conversation, and it would have been if Caroline hadn't been sitting within earshot and heard every word they said! The conversation may have pushed Kathy and Caroline closer together, but it certainly drove the wedge between Caroline and Teresa deeper. 

 

When Teresa finally got out of the hot tub, she had some explaining to do. Caroline had enough of Teresa's fake BS and in her own words, she snapped. While everyone else seems to turn a blind eye to Teresa's wrong doing in order to keep her in their life, Caroline is refusing to do so and was clearly done with Teresa. 

 

According to Joe Giudice, Caroline should be grateful that Teresa put her picture in a best selling cookbook. When the argument became a little too long winded for him, he began to scream at Caroline to end it. Oh Juicy Joe, while we admit your "guns" are impressive, you're no match for the spry Manzo boys just waiting to defend their mother. 

 

Jacqueline who pretended to sleep during the whole argument, woke up right when Lauren jumped it to defend her mother and Teresa became so crazy that she grabbed Kat's face (who was just sitting there) in a  rage trying to defend herself. Then Kathy, the ever smart one, pulled up an article with her smartphone where Teresa was CLEARLY painting them in a  less than favorable light. After they realized the argument wasn't going anywhere, Joe Giudice told Teresa to grab her ish so they could go! 

 

In an attempt to have his sister's back, Joe Gorga changed his family's flights so they could leave early with the Giudices. After the long draining confrontation, Caroline burst into tears and cried for a very long time. Oh yea, and Jacqueline "fell asleep" again. 

 

While the women were arguing, the guys had a much calmer debate going on at their table. Joe Giudice was indignant, claiming that if the other men's wives had the same opportunities as Teresa, they would have been talking trash in magazines too. To prove him wrong, Chris revealed that Jacqueline was offered $50,000 to write an article about Teresa and she turned it down. Chris then took the opportunity to confront Joe Giudice about some issues of his own. Apparently, Joe bad mouthed him to a bottle vendor and Chris caught wind of it. Chris's statement to Joe was clear - don't talk shit. End of story. Unlike the ladies, they kissed (literally) and made up. 

 

Next week, Dina returns! I hope we find out why she and Caroline aren't speaking, because that's been puzzling me for a while now.
