Bachelor Pad Season 3

by Gina Scarpa

It definitely sucks to be Chris this week on Bachelor Pad. His plan to blindside his partner right out of the game didn't work and now, Blakely is surely gunning for him. Chris has now teamed up with bedmate Sarah, while Blakeley turns to nice guy Tony for support. Upstairs in the bedroom, Chris asks Kalon why he lied to him, and he couldn't seem to formulate a good excuse. It's a little bit funny how Chris throws an absolute tantrum because play this game for themselves and lie to him, but he can treat people however he wants and not see the problem with that.

This week's challenge takes place right in the driveway of the mansion and the players have to race back and forth, stacking cups and saucers six times without dropping them. Of course, everyone throws around rude comments regarding Blakeley's history as a cocktail waitress, but she doesn't have this one in the bag. Her tray crashes to the ground, along with everyone else's, in the first heat. Some can barely get going and some refuse to pick up the speed (cough Erica Rose cough). I hope this isn't an indication for how the guys are going to do but then again, they did outperform the women in rhythmic gymnastics. Perhaps they have more hidden skills we don't know about!

Though Sarah came close, Blakeley's waitressing skills apparently do pay off and she wins the rose, and safety, for the week. It's just gettin' worse for Chris by the moment! Blakeley then turns into the Bill Belichick of the house, coaching Tony non-stop during his turn in the competition. By coaching I mean saying, "You got it, you got it, you got it, you got it, you got it" over and over again until he won. Chris and Sarah may have been annoyed by it but I mean, it worked. That little black rain cloud over Chris is starting to turn into a big ol' rain cloud.

Blakely decides to take Tony on her date, which leaves a rose open for someone else to head out on their own special night out. They chose Kalon who, of course, chooses Lindzi. Blakeley gets the choice of one date where they have to come home that night or an overnight and she picks curtain number two. Big mistake. Behind curtain number one are diamonds, a Bentley, and a dinner on a deserted bridge somewhere in Los Angeles. I literally think Blakeley turned green.

Kalon and Lindzi's date was pretty uneventful, as it was "weird" for them to be out in the real world. They didn't talk much about their lives before Bachelor Pad, probably because they covered that in the 835 hours they've spent cuddling together back at the mansion. It basically went like this: I like you, you like me, let's make out on a car. Truth be told, I hope they're able to make it work after this. I kind of think they're awesome together.

Blakeley and Tony's date was just a BIT of a step down from the first date, but they made it work. A GPS brought them to the middle of nowhere, where a trailer (literally) awaited them. They cooked their own food and sat underneath the night sky, but became a lot closer because of it. Tony is just the kind of guy Blakely should be with, but probably won't be if cameras aren't rolling. He made a romantic gesture by turning on the car radio and asking her to dance, which resulted in some serious kissing. Afterwards, they seemed practically inseparable at the mansion and very cuddly. "Now they act like they're married?" Chris grumbled. Dude, you either want her or you don't... and you don't so zip it.

Before the voting could begin for this week, Chris Harrison dropped a bomb. A big one. Everyone will vote for only one woman and that woman will have the sole power to take any guy out of the game with her. Well, there goes Chris's evil plan of trying to blindside Lindzi and effectively piss off Kalon. She'd totally take Chris down with her. Michael comes up with a seemingly brilliant idea to convince Erica Rose that Chris is gunning for her. That way, he won't lose anyone in his alliance and Public Enemy #1 will go with her.

The problem with that plan is that Chris to take Erica into the voting room so that she can see that he's not out to get her. When her name isn't called for a rose, she turns the house upside down by sending Michael home in a limo. Cue the tears, not just from Rachel, but from just about every woman left. What just happened!?
