Big Brother 14

The Silent Six was a good idea for about five minutes in the Big Brother house, if that. You didn't really think Britney, Dan, Boogie, and their players in tow would actually trust each other did you? Especially when word gets out that Frank was considering backdooring Dan, this alliance all but crumbles. At least the Quack Pack is still going strong. But really, that was the best name they had? Though in its favor, it makes me want to yell Mighty Ducks style... quack, quack, Quack, Quack, QUACK, QUACK!!!!

Ashley gets to work to try to save Wil by asking Frank out on an ice cream date, much to Ian's dismay. Dry your tears, Ian. You haven't asked her out again since the slop date so it's your own fault. After a little game chit chat, Frank comes right out and asks if she wants to make out on the couch. And you know what? She does! What an odd pairing. It must be lonely in the Big Brother house.

We meet Joe's family, who are all fully aware of how much he screams into the cameras and hate Boogie, of course. We also catch up with Big Brother favorite Jeff Schroeder, who interviews houseguests on CBS.com after they've been evicted. He feels Janelle's ousting was the most shocking moment of the season thus far and is rooting for Ian. You and me both, buddy.

At the eviction ceremony, Wil asks his fellow players to vote for themselves, and not vote the way others want them to. Joe stands up and spouts of the most nonsensical speech I think I've ever heard in 14 seasons of the show. Seriously, I have no idea what he was talking about but it included a Sharon Osbourne impression. Thankfully, Julie told him to wrap it up - and he did! Only Jenn and Ashley vote to keep Wil, while the rest send him packing. I'm definitely going to miss him and hope he gets another crack at the game down the road.

The HOH competition is an endurance once, where players have to run across a slippery playing field and fill up a very large fishbowl and retrieve a cork in order to win. There are two smaller bowls, one with guaranteed safety for the week and the other with a $10,000 prize in case people didn't want to compete for power. Poor Ashley can barely move without being absolutely terrified of injuring her back further, Ian slides on his stomach, while Danielle gets in trouble for using ropes to pull herself back up the yard. It's going to be a long night folks... we'll just have to wait until Sunday for the results!

Find out who becomes the new HOH on Big Brother, Sunday at 8/7c on CBS.
