After the initial branding meeting with Heather, Sonja decided she didn't like the direction that it was going in so she brought in Ramona, who is basically Heather's arch enemy right now. In typical Ramona fashion, she tried to take over the whole project but the real problem was that Sonja agreed to a logo and then changed her mind, but didn't communicate that until Ramona was in the room. Needless to say Heather felt unappreciated and disrespected for herself as well as her team.
When Heather confronted Sonja about how she felt, Sonja got defensive and insulted Heather even further by insinuating that Heather and her team were not professional because they didn't want to deal with Ramona. She kept calling herself a client, but clients pay for services don't they? Heather tried to back out of the project, but Sonja didn't allow her to.
We finally got to meet the infamous Harry Dubin, Aviva's ex-husband. While Aviva knows that Harry is no longer the man for her, they still try and maintain a civil relationship because of their son, Harrison, which is great. Even though their flame no longer burns, that didn't stop dirty Harry from complimenting Aviva, telling Harrison "your mother looks good!"
LuAnne teamed up with Life & Style magazine to run a holiday coat drive and party. Ramona confronted her about the wine party, and although she did so calmly, she reminded LuAnne that the "old Ramona" would have been screaming and throwing wine in her face. I'm sorry, did Ramona change somehow and I didn't notice it?
LuAnne admitted to Sonja that her attempts to get pregnant are to ensure that she "keeps" Jacques. It turns out this wasn't the best time to tell her that, because she got really drunk at the party and started babbling incoherently about how she loves LuAnne more than Jacques and that she "doesn't believe it." Ever helpful, Ramona jumped in and asked her if she meant that she doesn't believe Jacques has serious intentions with LuAnne. Her drunken rant, although embarrassing, seemed good natured. She told Jacques that she didn't want LuAnne to be hurt the way she was. Sonja hasn't been too forthcoming about her past relationship and I can't wait to hear more about it. The ladies were able to end the night with laughter because of a raunchy, inappropriate performance by the band that LuAnne hired.
It doesn't look like the peace is kept for long, as it appears Heather and Ramona get into it again next week!
