Big Brother 14

Well, it seems Dan and Boogie are in trouble on Big Brother. It's clear to them that Britney and Janelle have formed an alliance but what did you expect them to do when you formed your own? Side note, absolutely stupid of Boogie to team up with Dan. His players have no shot at making it to the end. You need to play this game with people who can WIN competitions, since winning things equals power in the game and in the house.

Right before players were picked for the veto competition, Frank begged the cameras not to have Danielle or Shane picked to go against him. Danielle would save Kara if she won (if she won, ha!) while Shane is a serious physical threat. Guess the first two names pulled out of the bag? Wil will be joining the competition as well, with Jojo being given the task of hosting.

In the backyard, the Big Brother laundromat has been set up. Players must race through endless piles of bubbles... bubbles?! Ashley loves bubbles! I'm starting to think she may be Dory from Finding Nemo. Where was I? Oh yes, race through the bubbles and find coins. Throw those coins into a coin slot in a vending machine, totaling $1.30, and retrieve the Power of Veto necklace. With the exception of Willie and Shane, everyone is pretty terrible at this. When Frank finds an amazing stash of $1 coins, he can't seem to land a single one of them! He finally gets close, but it's Shane and his supernatural accuracy that ends up coming out on top.

Now, I just want to stop for a minute and say that I think Shane is an idiot for competing so hard in the competition. He's already a physical threat and now, he's actually considering taking someone off the block! You don't shake up the house in Week 1, dude. Take the Dr. Will approach. Throw competitions.

Feeling like Frank is probably in trouble now, Boogie approaches Britney and tries to align himself with her and stab Dan in the back. When she feels like he's resorting to threatening techniques (i.e. saying a line will be drawn in the sand if she doesn't replace a nominee with one of Janelle's team members if the veto is used), Britney launches a smear campaign in the house to turn people against Boogie. It's amazing how much the coaches are trying to run this game right now. The coaches shouldn't even be a factor in decisions, votes, etc! Right now, it feels like they're running things.

At the end of the night, Shane decides that he's not going to use the Power of Veto (smart guy) so it will be either Kara or Frank leaving the house in week 1. Any guesses on which one will be sitting down with Julie Chen first?

Find out who will be leaving the Big Brother house, Thursday at 8/7c on CBS.
