The Real Housewives Of New Jersey Season 4

By Jessica Blackwell

It was Antonia's 6th birthday and her party was complete with a bounce house, a cotton candy machine, and personalized cake.  The party was a tad awkward because Teresa and Jacqueline were both in attendance. There was a part where Teresa's brother was asking her what was going on with her and Jacqueline while Jacqueline was arriving at the party less than 5 feet away. Given that he was the one facing Jacqueline at the time and clearly saw her closing in, it almost appeared that Joe was trying to set her up because he didn't warn her that Jacqueline was behind her. Luckily, Jacqueline didn't seems to hear anything she was saying.

To continue the trend of entrepreneurship within the family, Caroline and Lauren decided to go into business together, 51% and 49% ownership respectively , since her venture with Chateau didn't work out. They can't even agree on a theme or a marketing plan for the business currently, but I wish them all the best. Maybe  this business will actually work out so Lauren can stop feeling like she has to compete with her brothers.

Teresa and Joe vented to their loved ones about their therapy session. Teresa, of course said that she doesn't think the therapist likes her and that she already knew everything that he told her.  God forbid she actually listen to someone other than herself and the voices in her head. Dr. Sweeney suggested that they go back to having family dinners on Sunday, so Melissa invited everyone over. I'm interested to see what actually happens with that...

Melissa's producer Corté somehow rustled up an opportunity for her to perform at Beatstock, a northeast mega concert. To help her prepare (you know, because she will actually have to dance) he brought out a major blast from the past, the ex Mr. Jennifer Lopez himself,  Chris Judd. He tried to help her find her confidence so she wouldn't appear nervous on stage. Only time will tell if his technique worked.

Albie has a new giiirrrffrrrienndd!! OooOOO! Besides shacking up at Casa de Manzo boys, the professional cheerleader had yet to meet the rest of the family, so Albie brought her to Greg's surprise birthday celebration at a gay club. Lindsay was nervous about meeting Caroline, but she should have been worried about meeting Lauren. Lauren seemed ok (although she did tell Lindsay that she was surprised that she had any rhythm, which basically translates to "I don't know how you keep your job"), but Caroline made the bold statement, saying that at this point in his life, Albie isn't capable of a serious relationship because he should focus on Blk. I don't know about that, but she seemed to blend in with the family pretty well, even dancing on the bar with Melissa. Lauren said that it didn't bother her that Lindsay had a nice body, although I know she meant the exact opposite. I hope there isn't some Teresa and Joe Gorga business going on here, where she will be jealous of her brother's girlfriend or wife.

Once she finally remembered the poor girl's name, Rosie brought the girl that she met at the bar in last week's episode to dinner at her mother's house. You can tell that not everyone is completely natural around lesbians, but it seemed to go pretty well.
