Hell's Kitchen Season 10

by Todd Betzold

The drama continues on the Red Team of Hell's Kitchen, as the women just can't find a way to get through their dinner services without fighting. Despite their bickering and fighting, the Red Team continues to do well and won another dinner service. Will the success continue tonight?

The Red Team leaves dinner service confident and determined to make it to the finals and Christina gets a three stars comment from Chef Ramsay. Patrick and Royce have a little tiff over Royce calling him out in front of Chef Ramsay.

Time for the next challenge, as the teams meet Chef Ramsay, and he has brought a slot machine for the chefs. The slot machine will determine what the chefs will make. One from each team will go up and pull the handle on the slot machine to determine what each chef will make. Since the Red Team has six chefs and Chef Ramsay will only taste five dishes, one of them must sit out. While none of them want to sit out to prove a point, finally Kimmie agrees to sit out.

Up first to the slot machine are Dana and Patrick. They spin Flat Iron Steam, potatoes, mushrooms, spinach and blue cheese. Christina and Royce are next and they get Hanger Steak, yam, eggplant, asparagus and crab. Barbie and Brian are next and they get NY Strip, celery root, tomato, cauliflower and shrimp. Tiffany and Justin are next and they get Filet Mignon, beets, carrots, zucchini and chorizo. Robyn and Clemenza are last and they get Rib Eye, parsnip, sweet corn, broccoli and bacon. Now Kimmie gets to decide which one on her team she wants to go against. They both will cook that dish and their team will decide which one to present to Chef Ramsay. Kimmie decides to go up against Robyn, which ticks off Robyn...you going up against your girl?

The chefs have 30 minutes to show Chef Ramsay they can cook steak, especially if they win this season they will be put in charge of his new steakhouse in Vegas. Royce is determined to earn back respect after being beaten by Christina last time. Kimmie has no idea what parsnips are, so she deep fries them and she fries up the bacon too. Apparently that is how they do it in the South. The chefs race around to get their dishes plated, as time is running out. The Red Team has one minute to decide to use either Kimmie or Robyn's Rib Eye dish. They go with Robyn's and Kimmie is ticked and starts crying...not so gangsta now, are ya?

Up first is the battle of the Filet between Tiffany and Justin. For Justin, Chef Ramsay said it is delicious and he wants to eat more. For Tiffany, Chef Ramsay said it tastes very good, but with a stuffed filet you can overcook it quickly. The Blue Team gets one point. Next up are Royce and Christina with the Hanger Steak. For Christina, Chef Ramsay said it is delicious and the steak is great, but the yams are a clump of mess. For Royce, Chef Ramsay said it looks fantastic, but the eggplant is undercooked and he spits it out. The Red Team gets one point, so Royce loses again, and the score is tied. Next up are Dana and Patrick with the Flat Iron Steak. For Dana, Chef Ramsay said it looks a mess and drains all this extra juice on a different plate. He said it is dry and her worst performance yet. For Patrick, Chef Ramsay said it tastes like you threw a big clump of salt in there. No point for either team and still scored at 1-1. Next up are Barbie and Brian with the NY Strip. For Barbie, Chef Ramsay said the steak is delicious and shrimp is cooked perfectly. For Brian, Chef Ramsay said the temperature is nailed perfectly. Both teams get a point, so tied 2-2. Now battle of the Rib Eye between Robyn and Clemenza. For Clemenza, Chef Ramsay said the steak is slightly undercooked, but is delicious and he's done it justice. For Robyn, Chef Ramsay said it is overcooked, wet and soggy and dreadful. Point for the Blue Team and they win 3-2. He wanted to check Kimmie's plate and he loved it and made the women taste it and they said they made a bad choice. She would have given Clemenza a run for his money.

For winning, the Blue Team will be going shopping for knives and then head over to one of the best restaurants in California. For losing, the Red Team will have to unload the beef and get it prepped for Steak Night tomorrow. The women have to carry in this huge piece of meat, which they struggle doing and Kimmie can hardly breathe as they get the meat into the kitchen. Meanwhile, the Blue Team heads out shopping. Robyn is ticked and feels the Red Team is all against her for losing the challenge. It continues on as it is just petty crap they keep fighting over, so this dinner service should go well for them.

It is time for bed and Robyn is ready to get some sleep, but she is so stressed she doesn't think she will get much. At 5:30 am, Kimmie's snoring has her wide awake and she goes to the other bedroom to sleep. The other women wake up and are ticked Robyn slept in their room. Robyn is ticked, which is fine with this...that is catty crap girls.

Time to prep for dinner service and Justin is hounding everyone on the Blue Team to make sure everyone is moving strong. Meanwhile on the Red Team, Barbie calls out Tiffany for cutting the onions too thick and has Chef Andi come over and check them. Tiffany is ticked (it seems like I have typed ticked a lot tonight...I am sick of this stupid drama tonight) and then Barbie and her have tension going into dinner service.

Chef Ramsay arrives and tells Justin his Filet Mignon he made is on the menu tonight. It is also Family Night tonight in Hell's Kitchen, so they will have a kid's menu. As they get dinner service started, Kimmie burns her hands (I did not even see it, did you)? The medics come and she is not able to go back into the kitchen tonight, but we won't see dinner service until tomorrow night, as "To Be Continued" pops on the screen.

Hell's Kitchen airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on FOX.
