The Glee Project Season 2

Excitement and fear runs rampant through the contestants' minds as Robert announces that the theme this week on The Glee Project is Sexuality. The homework assignment is Color Me Badd's "I Wanna Sex You Up" - and here I thought I'd never have to hear that song again! The performance for Robert and guest mentor Naya Rivera (Glee's Santana Lopez) was just as awkward as I thought it was going to be but the pair look delighted by it.

Naya liked Blake's playful side and felt drawn to Charlie, especially since he beatboxed and she finds that sexy. Aylin took things a little too far (not surprisingly) and Nellie's nervousness was definitely apparent. Naya decies that Charlie is the winner and tells him during their one on one to just be natural and not force things at the video shoot.

Speaking of, this week's video is set to a mashup of "Moves Like Jagger" and "Milkshake". The setting is a high school sex ed class where the students end up having a sexy off. A what now?! Following his win, Charlie is feeling pretty high on himself and spends more time winking at Aylin than focusing in the recording studio. Fortunately for him, he has Michael to take some of the heat off as he continuously forgets the words - so much so that Nikki kicks him out. How embarrassing. That's definitely going to put him in the bottom three.

On the set for the shoot, Lily worries about outshining Aylin and definitely shows her confidence but it's Nellie who steals the show after breaking out of her shell. The mentors notice that Abraham is also showing a serious improvement and is coming across as much more masculine since dying his hair completely black. Once again, Charlie is doing what Charlie wants to do, directing people on set and trying to change blocking until Erik finally shuts him down.

Nellie impressed the mentors so much this week that she's called back first, followed by Blake, Mario, Aylin, Abraham, Ali, and Lily are safe. Shanna JUST escapes being placed in the bottom three and is told that she needs to show more sides of her personality than just happy and bubbly all the time. Fair enough. That means that Charlie, Tyler, and Michael will have to sing for Ryan in order to stay.

Charlie is given "I Get A Kick Out Of You" by Cole Porter and his vocal quality on this song reminds me a bit of Michael Buble. Ryan reprimands him for acting immature and unprofessional, but Zach praises his last chance performance as one of the most entertaining he's ever seen.

Tyler is asked to sing "Smile" by Charlie Chaplin, which he says he's never heard of. Dude, it was a song on Glee! I do like his unique sound, as I've said before, but being an internal person is not going to work for him in this competition. Ryan doesn't want to criticize him because of the brave personal choices he's made but honestly, he needs to put aside those personal feelings and look at it, saying, "Can I really write a role and can this person really stand out on Glee?"

For the last performance of the night, Michael sings "Lucky" by Jason Mraz. He forgets the words to this one too, but fifty times worse than in the recording studio earlier! He swears this never happens but honestly, he had the easiest song, lyrically, of the three. Give me a break.

When the callback list is posted, the mentors have decided that Tyler will be the one leaving. Do you agree with their decision?
