Joe Giudice was extremely upset when Teresa told him about the confrontation that she had with her brother at Kathy's pool party. He issued her an ultimatum, saying that while her brother's children were welcome in his home, Joe Gorga was not. Then he went so far as to say that if her parents had a problem with it, he would kick them out of the house too. This guy seems to have real respect for her family. (can you hear my sarcasm?) Then he threatened to leave her over her family. I think it's only a matter of time before they file divorce papers.

 

Lauren chronicled more of her issues with her weight on this episode. Al shared his weight struggles with Lauren in an effort to her her, but she notes that it seems easy for him to maintain his weight because he has a lap band. I hope Lauren eventually finds happiness with herself.

 

Listening to Teresa talk about how she always tries to be positive for her daughters, and hearing Jacqueline comment about how it unhealthy for Gia to have seen/heard some of the things that she has reminded me of another housewife. Prostitution whore anyone? Teresa used to love to criticize Danielle Staub's parenting style along with everyone else, but I see similarities. Gia seems to know way too much for a little girl.

 

Gia told Teresa that she wants to go bra shopping, so Teresa took her to buy her first training bra. As the scene unfolded, I was just thinking about unnatural it was for Gia to have this moment on TV. That moment in a girl's life should definitely not be caught on camera for the whole world to see.

 

Teresa lied about her brother contacting her after their confrontation. Jacqueline was upset when she found out because Jacqueline specifically asked her if her brother reached out to her, and Teresa said no. Jacqueline felt like Teresa was trying to skew her perception of the situation. I can see the tensions between Teresa and Jacqueline rising....

 

Jacqueline hosted a field day for everyone, and I don't think it was such a good idea to have everyone compete with each other at this particular time. Surprisingly though, it wasn't one of the adults that caused the drama, but sweet little Gia!! She got super competitive during the games (no surprise where she got that from) and threw a tantrum.

 

Caroline and Jacqueline tried to get Gia to calm down, and it made Gia even more upset. Teresa told them (in front of Gia) to stay out of things that involve her children. Then Teresa said during her interview that maybe it's Jacqueline's fault that Ashley is the way she is, and that she feels bad for Ashley. That was a low blow, and I wonder how Jacqueline will feel when she watches the show and hears that. Her relationship with Ashley has been a struggle for her this season.
