Sabrina Thompson and Chelsea Meissner from Survivor: One World

Kim may have been a strong strategist and even stronger physical player this season on Survivor: One World, but she may not have made it to the end without her two trusty sidekicks, Sabrina and Chelsea. The trio made a pact on day one that brought them all to the final tribal council, an impressive feat in a game full of twists and turns.  Sabrina garnered a few votes from the jury, for her solid social game, while Chelsea was labeled "cold" and didn't earn a single vote for the million dollar prize.  The pair spoke to RealityWanted and reporters in a press conference call, following the finale, about their allegiance to Kim, getting the men out, and how they feel about the game they played.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: Kim had weighed the options of getting rid of both of you at points during the game. When you watched it back on tv and saw that, did it bother you?
A. Sabrina: Honestly, it didn't upset me. There's so much more you guys didn't see. She had a lot of options. It could've worked for her, which it did or it could've burned her, which it didn't. Jeff said you had to make big moves. For me, I play the game as close to possible with how I am in real life. It's hard for me to be calculated. For me to go and scramble, I knew that was not going to be my forte. There are obviously things you don't see and it was like, "Oh, okay. Really Kim?" She was playing the game and you have to keep that in your head.
A. Chelsea: I just think me and Kim had a lot of communication throughout the whole season. When there was a lot of talk, she would tell me exactly what everyone talked about. Watching it on tv, she was very honest with me the entire time. If there was talk of me going, she would tell me.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What was it with the men this season, turning on each other? Was their biggest mistake giving up immunity early on to take Bill out?
A. Sabrina: Yeah, I mean... who does that? That is Dumb Move 101. That and then, when they fell for voting out Jonas. That was it right there. We just picked them off one by one.

Q. Gina, RealityWanted: What surprised you when you watched everything play out on tv?
A. Chelsea: There are a lot of things we didn't see. We didn't get to see the guys' tribals, we didn't see how evil Colton was. All of that stuff really shocked me. I had no idea until I watched it on tv.
A. Sabrina: I knew Colton had an evil streak but I didn't know it was that deplorable. I don't wish sickness on anyone but I'm glad that sucker went out! You hear people's confessionals and to me, that was the most intriguing part, the thought process of lack of thought process of some people.

Q. Did you consider getting rid of Kim at any point in the game?
A. Sabrina: I think that's the number one question that I get. For me, I can't speak for Chelsea, but no. There was always the opportunity but I wanted to be able to get to the final three and look to my left and right and say, "If I don't win, I know either of these women are deserving of the money." I didn't have the same sentiments about Alicia and Christina. It was best for us to stay together.

Q. During the final tribal council, you made a pretty compelling argument and you got a couple votes. How did you feel you had done?
A. Sabrina: You play it out so much in your head. You're counting who you think voted for you. I thought I either won or lost by one vote. I thought it would be a little bit closer. If they were a bitter jury, I would've won and Kim played one hell of a game. She will go down in Survivor's history books as one of the greatest players.

Q. One of the things that was surprising is that you were pretty friendly and then they hit you with this "you're cold" card at the end. Where did that come from?
A. Chelsea: I think that was one of my biggest mistakes. Towards the end, I didn't develop the relationships that I probably should have. If I didn't become everyone's best friend, then it wouldn't be as bad if I blindsided them. I think people took that as me having a cold shoulder, which I don't, but it might have come across that way.

Q. Chelsea, what was your feeling during the final tribal council?
A. Chelsea: I expected last night to play out how it did. I didn't expect to get any votes just because of how final tribal went. I wasn't surprised at all.

Q. Why was it key to get Jonas out?
A. Chelsea: At the merge, we had just as many males as we did females. That first vote was going to be the most important. Jonas was a very strong player and Troy's right hand man. As soon as it was more females than males, we knew we had a shot to go a lot further in the game.

Q. At what point could you have made a move to get Kim out of the game?
A. Sabrina: It was either when Chelsea won her immunity challenge or further along, when Alicia won the one with the fish hooks. Chelsea knew that Kim had the immunity idol. I knew someone close to me had it but I didn't know who. Kat and I found the idol wrapper so we knew someone had it, we just didn't know who. Honestly, I had no inclination to try to get Kim out because of the pact that we made earlier. I was like, "You know what? Hopefully, they'll honor the same pact." A lot of people say that wasn't a good move but for me, it was about subtle movement. I don't think I would've made it nearly as far if I played very risky. People say I wasn't playing to win but you never know how this game is going to end. It hinges on people's perceptions and thoughts of you on the jury.
A. Chelsea: I think everyone saw Kim and I as a pair. I knew if she were to go, I would be next on the chopping block. I thought we could kind of tag team it. I knew that she had final three talk with almost every single person on that island so it was hard to go to someone who trusted in Kim because if that got back to her, I'd be done. I agree with Sabrina, we stuck with that pact and we honestly made it on day one. It's crazy that it lasted the whole game.
