Survivor: One World

There have been many a stupid move made in Survivor over the years - James getting voted out with two idols in China, Jason falling for the fake idol in Micronesia, and now, Jay giving up a shot at immunity for a plate of chicken wings. Those wings better have been the best damn chicken you ever ate, buddy...

Jeff Probst must be busy because we're treated to another do-it-yourself challenge on the beach. The tribe even has to set it up themselves and Troyzan tries to step in as host. Basically, it's a game of ladder golf that's about as interesting as it sounds. Tarzan ends up being on the winning team and gets his first reward, a barbecue feast. The guy hasn't had protein in about 20 days so it's definitely needed!

Last week, it was Jay who was worried about the women sticking together to the end. This week, it's Tarzan. At camp, the guys call Kat, Chelsea, Kim, and Sabrina over to make sure they're still together and they smile and reassure them that they are. The only one that remotely seems to be considering sticking with the guys is Chelsea. The girls quickly swoop in around her to remind her that she needs to play with her head, not her heart. Like Sabrina said, you gotta put on your big girl panties and make a big girl decision.

The immunity challenge is a Survivor classic. Players are tethered to a bucket above their heads and if their arm drops, the water comes crashing down on them and they're out. Jeff barely had time to say "go" when Tarzan dropped. Food was offered to those who felt safe and many dropped, including Jay! WHY!!! It came down to Leif and Chelsea, and she was able to convince him to lose on purpose, saying it would make him less of a threat. These guys are seriously mesmerized by these girls, aren't they?

Worried that he's in trouble, Troyzan reveals to Jay that he has the idol and he's going to use it. Jay, in turn, runs around to tell Kim. I don't understand how Jay went from feeling paranoid to completely, 100% safe in a matter of three days. Yet, at tribal council, he admits that he feels unsafe, as do Troyzan and Kim. Troy plays the idol, out of fear of being eliminated with it in his hand, and the votes end up going to Jay. That's what you get for feeling too comfortable and trusting too easily.

From here, if Troy is smart, he'll stir the pot with the ladies. Sure, they can make it to the final six together but then what? Don't Christina and Alicia realize they're at the bottom of the totem pole?
