The Biggest Loser 13

Clearly, the contestants of The Biggest Loser have been forced into the same room following last week's elimination where Adrian was sent home so that Daphne and Conda could have it out. Once both sides state (or shout) their peace, it's time to meet up with Alison, who tells the contestants that one member from each team will be going home this week. Only those who go home will have their weight count and to top it off, the trainer is going home with them.

This decision is left to Bob and Dolvett and they choose... surprise, surprise... Conda and Daphne! Forget the fact that Buddy recently had a baby and desperately wants to be home with his family, we have a drama-filled feud to settle!

Without their trainers to motivate them, the red and black teams are left to their own devices. They try to follow the workouts that Bob and Dolvett would want them to follow, but it's noticeable that there's less pep in their step. Meanwhile, Daphne is climbing Willis Tower in Chicago and Conda is working out with a high school basketball team back home in Michigan. Both open up to their trainers about the issues that have contributed to their weight issues - Daphne has health problems that have sent her to the ER over 100 times, while Conda can't stop hurting from the emotional pain her drug-addicted father inflicted on her.

Back at the ranch, it's time for a challenge and the prize is letters from home! Teams have to dig themselves under three logs and get all their teams, and an unnecessary dummy, to the finish line. Emily sits out for the black team, which doesn't turn out to be a great idea, as her teammates get stuck multiple times and end up losing. The red team sobs on the beach as they read their letters and, as an added bonus, they win a one pound advantage for Conda at the weigh-in.

The best part of the trip home? When Dolvett babysat Conda's kid so she could have a night out with her friends. I smell a spinoff!

That brings us to the scale! Whichever team loses the highest percentage of weight loss wins another one pound advantage for their person. Here's how the numbers went down:

Black Team
Chris: -5
Jeremy: -6
Emily: -5
Megan: -4
Cassandra: -6
Chism: -7
TOTAL: -33 (2.23%)

Red Team
Kimmy: -4
Buddy: -7
Roy: -9
Kim: -9
Mark: -10
TOTAL: -39

The Red Team crushes the Black Team (they had taken it when Kim weighed in!), winning another one pound advantage for Conda, giving her two. Daphne steps on the scale first and drops 12, then Conda drops 10, losing the weigh-in by a pound. Of course, she bursts into tears, which you think would make Daphne happy but she's not like her nemesis. Though she's happy she avenged her brother's elimination, she doesn't want to see anyone upset.

In the elimination room, the Red Team writes down Roy's name, giving lame reasons for sending him home. Santa looks sad and I have a feeling Mrs. Claus is going to raise holy hell when she finds out what went down in next week's episode!
