They're bringing out the big guns in tonight's episode of Project Runway All Stars, when the designers are challenged to design for one of the biggest fashionistas out there.

 

Tonight's challenge: design a flamboyant cocktail dress for one of the biggest fashionistas out there: Miss Piggy. Come on now...a Muppet? The designers all act like they are excited it is her, but don't tell me they weren't expecting someone a little bit higher up in importance.

 

First taste of unnecessary drama: Kara wants to use the pink gloves from the accessory table, but Mondo wanted them. She asks him is she can use them and he says yes because he doesn't want to argue with her...didn't seem like an argument was brewing, but whatever floats you boat Mondo.

 

The designers seem to be putting together some cute and sassy stuff, which seems fitting for Miss Piggy. Second taste of unnecessary drama: Mila is clearly over Kenley and her need for approval in everything that she creates.

 

Time for Joanna's visit...Gordana's dress seems boring and Kenley is using a giraffe print for Miss Piggy (get it together girl). Austin is super excited to meet Miss Piggy (I don't know what is up with all this fascination for her). I feel Joanna's visits aren't as important and definitely not as fun as Tim's were...yes, I am still missing him.

 

Gordana's dress just seems simple and plain...you could find it in any department store. Mila is now consumed with Kara and Kenley and how they seem to be co-dependent on each other. Mila seems a little bitter tonight (I think she may be going home).

 

The designers enjoy a night together and share some laughs...I am really liking Anthony. I like his sass, but it is now time for the runway show. After Kara deals with the drama yesterday with the accessories, she now has to deal with it again, but this time with Austin. He took the shoes and pearls she planned on using, but he gives them back after being a drama queen.

 

The judges this week are Angela, Georgina and in the place of Isaac is Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Daman and of course, guest judge for the week Miss Piggy. The runway show is hit and miss for me. Hit: April, Jerell and Kenley. Miss: Kara (not a dress for Miss Piggy), Rami, Mila, Gordana (too plain) and Austin (looks ridiculous).

 

Called out this week are Austin, Rami, Gordana, Kenley, Mila and Michael. These designers have the top and bottom three scores...the other designers are safe. For some reason they love Rami's dress, even though I think it is ridiculous. Mila's dress seems to be for a goth girl...black and gray...so emo.

 

The results: Kenley is safe. Michael and Rami have the highest scores, which means Miss Piggy will be wearing their design to one of the premieres of the new Muppet movie. And the winner is Michael. Rami and Austin are safe, which leaves us with the safe/boring dress of Gordana and the goth/emo dress of Mila. Even though it didn't work for Miss Piggy, Mila is safe and Gordana is sent home.

 

Project Runway All Stars airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Lifetime.
