The housewives' tropical vacation continues! Still reeling from Kathy and Teresa's fight, everyone was trying to get back to normal. Kathy of course, was playing innocent but part of me suspects that her little comment was a dig at Teresa. Melissa may have thought so as well, saying to Kathy "If you were talking about you and your children, then you have nothing to worry about. But if you were talking about her children, I would tell you that you were wrong." Teresa starting acting like nothing happened, and Kathy was still bothered.

Teresa took everyone to Higuey market to do research for her third cookbook which she said would have Italian/Italian fusion recipes. Confused? I was too She corrected herself saying it was going to be a Italian/Latin fusion cookbook. When they got to the market, it was literally chopped up animal parts everywhere. Blood on the ground, cow heads on the floor, I would have been mortified. And they were. Teresa asked the guy at the counter if her ever heard of her cookbook, Skinny Italian. Yes Teresa, everyone in DR paid $30 American dollars for your cookbook so they can learn how to make pasta! At dinner, they decided to have a Punta Princess pageant between Teresa, Kathy, and Melissa. When they got to the intellect portion of the questions, Albie asked everyone to name the vice president of the United States. Crickets........ It took them a good few minutes to realize the answer. None of three women knew off the top of their head.

Joe and Joe seemed to get along much better. They drank together, joked, and were at least civil the entire trip. The trip could have been a disaster, but everyone seemed to get along for the most part, except Teresa and Kathy.

When they got back to Jersey, it was time for Melissa to prepare for her performance at the BLK water launch. She rehearsed with her dancers, and practiced on stage. At some points it didn't seem like she was taking it seriously though, commenting that she didn't want to do her first performance at a rinky dink club. Then, right before she was going on stage, she said that although she was nervous, she could half-ass it because it wasn't that big of a deal. Greg didn't seem to find that amusing.

Joe Giudice said nice things about Melissa for once, saying that she did a good job, and that not very many people could get up on stage and do what she did. Teresa and Kathy seemed to make up but talking it out towards the end of the launch party. Everyone seemed united, at least for now.

Can't wait for next week, it looks as though Teresa put some shady stuff about Caroline in her cookbook!
