As you might imagine, Semhar is having a tough time at Redemption Island on Survivor: South Pacific. There's a whole lot of crying, revelations of abandonment issues, and performances of poems. I'd say she's not handling it well.

 

Now, I'm not sure if Edna has a thing for Coach or what but she is solid as a rock when it comes to aligning with him. Fortunately for the Dragon Slayer, he's gathered a few other followers as well and seems to be safe for now, especially with Christine skulking around and looking for an idol. Skulk. SAT word.

 

Speaking of someone who needs to do damage control, Cochran decides to play the role of provider around camp in order to prove his worth. But enough about that - Ozzy climbed a tree like the little monkey that he is and found the hidden immunity idol!

 

Back at Upolu, Brandon decides to reveal that he is Russell's (aka Coach's arch nemesis) nephew. That could've spelled trouble for Lil Hantz but Coach sees him as a man of his word and not as a threat. Imagine Russell's reaction if his nephew goes all the way and wins it.

 

I smell a new alliance forming - Keith, Jim, and Ozzy are teaming up and want to pull in Whitney and Elyse. All the pretty girls say hey!

 

For this week's immunity/reward challenge, it's time to play Run Around The Maypole and unbraid ribbons that are wrapped around it to release a key, then unlock some tribemates, and complete a puzzle. Upolu gets off to a commanding lead thanks to confusion on Savaii and the ever slow moving Dawn. When Savaii's puzzlemakers (Ozzy, Keith, Jim, and Mark) get in the game though, things become dead even. They fly through it and take the win! In addition to being safe, they take some comfort items back to camp - pillows, blankets, and a mat.

 

Let the paranoia begin at Upolu - we got Christine's name being thrown around, as well as Stacey's and Mikayla's. Well, Mikayla is only coming from Brandon. He has a real problem with her and that problem is that he's scared silly of her good looks. He's a married man dammit!

 

At tribal council, Coach throws Stacey and Christine under the  bus, saying it was their idea to try to vote out Mikayla, who is shocked by the revelation.  When the girls jump down Coach's throat, Albert jumps in to defend him.  I know, I didn't realize Albert was playing this game either.  Coach comes back at Christine, announcing that she's looking for the idol.  She doesn't seem remotely threatened or worried - which will ultimately be her demise in the game. 

 

Oh hold up, somebody else clearly wants to have a bigger target on their backs and that person would be Lil Hantz.  For no reason, he comes clean and says he was the one lobbying to get rid of Mikayla. 

 

Fortunately for just about everyone, Upolu has no idea what the hell they're doing and votes are thrown around between four different people.  Semhar's about to have some company at Redemption Island - Christine's headin' over!
